I'm sure I'll love GT5, but my gf always comes first. But she knows how much I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be able to even make her play it lol!
 
well , i have at most 5 weeks till my newborn son . my wife is 34 weeks pregnant ,she knows that ill be a present father. and she knows that during at least 4 weeks she wont bother me much, after work comes gt5 , after 2 AM , sex is she wants too, then work again. :) this year is the best year of my life , got married in the summer , gonna be parent for the first time in the winter , then gt5 :)
 
I have taken a different angle. I have promised my wife that I will not ask for sex for a month if she lets me play...she loved the idea! No nagging for a month, she feels like a free woman she said!

I told the wife she can buy a new Macbook Air on Black Friday. I'm sure that thing will keep her busy transferring all of her pictures and files over. :sly:

Amazing! Congratulations for marriage and the newborn son that will come around. i'm married for about 3 years now, planning our first new baby-pilot for the next year.

He will like cars for sure. My wife asks: and if its a baby-girl? I said: She'll love cars too :dopey:
 


It will pay dividends latter on.
 
I'll only get an hour or so to play each day because of work and family commitments. The wife will probably just take herself to bed and watch TV. Since I haven't had a proper night's sleep in 6 years, I'll have to keep my play sessions short - I just don't have the capacity to stay up late any more.
 
I am playing GT5 as much as I want. If my GF does not like it, she is free to leave. Actually I am hoping she does, GFs are very overrated. Want to be single again.
 
I will have no problems. I have no desire to take days off to play GT5, or play it for hours each day.

I get off work at 4.30pm every day and she gets off at 7pm. So, I have atleast a couple of hours to myself anyway. She usually works on Sat or Sun every weekend too. So, if I need to have an ultra-long session, then I have the weekend to do it.
 
My wife is very much a gamer so she understands, but my biggest issue will be hogging the PS3. We have an Xbox 360 as well, but she only plays shooters and does so strictly on the PS3. ...and she's been playing a lot lately. Hmmm...

I've actually got a good wife that shares equal terms with the relationship (the rare type!) I'm getting a G27/Playseat setup, not only is she ok with that, she encourages it because it makes me happy, and she wants to try it out too :)

She wont be bored either. That just gives her more PC time lol

Guess me and the guy above have the good gamer wives :)

All of you that have to negotiate with your women and plea aren't in the right relationship! lol

Well I've been playing videogames b4 I got with the mother of my 3 kids and she knows that this is what I do. !Nough said she want entertainment she could take her butt to the movies lol

The first thing I do when I wake up is reach for the Laptop to check GTplanet for the latest GT5 news, and it is often the last thing I do before I go to sleep. My Gf already thinks I am obsessed, and I dont even have GT5 yet. I have already told her that she better not be causing aggrovation when I am playing, and I warned her that I have been waiting for 6 years for this, and I am certainly going to be making up for lost time.

During this period, I will be buying her an S95 Canon, I am already going to be paying 580 euro dental treatment for her, and when I am home this weekend (flying back to Italy) I am going to be taking her out to dinner, and the following evening I am going to cook her a romantic meal. So as you can see, leading up to release she is being treated like a princess, only for her to be treated like an annoying little sister when I have GT5 haha :)

Hopefull It should all be ok, I have prepared and made it very clear how much GT5 means to me, and how I am so desperate for this game. Generally my GF is pretty good, and is not the nagging type, but still she is a woman, and she needs her attention, so even when I have GT5, I am still going to have to keep her sweet.

There is only one PS3 game she enjoys playing, and that is Zen Pinball, she is actually pretty obsessed herself, and sometimes spends hours playing. She does not know yet that there is DLC for this game, so when I need to, I will download it for her, and she will have some new tables to play, :sly:

I have some even more cunning tricks, and will use them when I need to in-order to keep her happy:idea:

So, what about the rest of you, better start scheming now if you want uninterupted GT5 sessions hehehe

Imagine if an evening, coming back home, you notice your girlfriend playing GT5 and beating all you best times...
 
Explain the GF that we've been together for 2,5 years happily and that she means a lot and then tell her and make her understand that I've had a 12 year relationship with Gran Turismo and that i cherish long relationships.....but not that i consider our 2,5 year run as a relation**** XD

I am extremely grateful to have a wife that I have common interests with. Not only does she game, she's very good at it. She primarily plays COD/MW2/Black Ops and is often the top player in the match. If only these guys knew they were getting their asses kicked by a girl! She's way better at it than I am and before she met me, her favorite video game was Q*Bert. I never thought she'd get into shooters, let alone be so good at them.
 
I'll probably just give my girl my dick in a box. Cause I won't be using it for a while when this comes out. Either that or roofalin

I got my copy this morning :) and its amazing cant wait to use the ferrari f10 f1 car
 
My fiancee has previously held a racing license and is insisting that we get a PS3, GT5, a Playseat Evolution and a G27 wheel... so I don't need any tricks to make her happy once we get the game. She can school me around any track.
 
my girl loves cars and loves watching me play car games. lol plus her car(evo IX MR) is on the game so its win win for me.
