And five minutes turned out to be 60 minutes:p

 done that myself many times  once i knocked myself clean out on the bed side table i was out for about an hour

As you could imagine it did not got down to well when i turned up for work over 2 hours late

On the table you say!
Ouch :hurt:

Hmmmmmmmmm I woke up around 8am fell out of bed realised I was ill phoned up work and went back to bed.

I actually wake up on my own without an alarm clock or other sleep interupting device....I donno how I do it, but ever morning I wake up around 6(no one else is up mind you) and then I just stay in bed listening to the radio(the Bob and Tom show is funny!)for 20 mins and I get out of bed...

When I go to bed, usually I turn the tube off at 11, then put on the radio and sleep with the radio and a lava lamp on...I find that I sleep better with stuff on, like a TV or radio, and some sort of light.

I'm wierd, but I like it...

Yup the table...... the table is higher than the bed so when i turned to put off the alarm clock i scudded into it not realising how close i was from it

Heh I remember I left one of my weights on my bed and after a night out I stumbled into my room flopped on my bed and knocked my head on the weight. Although the alcohol numbed the pain untill I woke up the next morning :ouch:

funny you should ask...
this morning kinda sucked. i woke up, an as i was lying there, out of no where my leg muscle tightened up and it was the most painful time its happened. and it just had to happen on tennis day(wednesday) and it hurts to walk sometimes.

But enough about me...

Alarm went at 5.45, got up, putting running gear on (including three attempts to put running shorts on correctly), and went for a 35 minute run. Have now had breakfast and am finishing my coffee, watching the news (it's 7 am here now).

ugh 7am sounds painfull to me in my current state, its 10pm and im going to bed in about 5mins.

Alarm went at 7. Spent half an hour cuddling the wife and wishing that I didn't have to get up. Then got up.

alarm went off at 6:01am, so i turn off the alarm, then i blinked and that blink lasted 2 hours and a half. i ended up getting to school at 8:30...oops

You're a saint! I wish I had that willpower! In college I used to be able to get up early and exercise, but no more. I usually go at some point after work now... then come home and eat a hearty meal!

I'm finding it a lot easier to get up earlier in the new place - the street is much quieter than the old place, so I think I'm getting much better quality sleep now - consequently, when the alarm goes off, my first reaction isn't 'me sleep now...'

vatman... your crazy getting up that early :p

Well, I'm thinking of doing a marathon September next year, and I need to get my weekly running mileage up - and I can't run in the evenings - too tired after work.

It's the best time of the day in Sydney, before the humidity comes up, especially now before daylight savings - sun's up at about 5.40 at the moment.

I love daylight savings - it's great coming home and having an hour or two of daylight to get stuff done outside.

It's not so relevant to Qld - although I can't believe how vehemently Queenslanders hate it. I still remember the arguments against it - it fades the curtains, and causes problems with milking cows - .

it just runied any kind of sleeping pattern i had, i was late for quite a number of leictures at uni because of daylight savings, but yes it was good to have a few more hours of daylight.

in the US, I think that daylight savings need to end...first off right now the sun goes down here at about 6:30, which is nice. With daylight savings it's gonna be like 4:30(in january and stuff) and that means I get home with a max of 1 hr to do stuff outside like go cycling.

Not to spite my Giant Iguana is being destroyed...the seat post fused with the frame cause it's been at the same hight for, well, ever, so my dad tried to break it loose which didn't work at all, the back brakes started moving around so I fixed them, then today I realize that the back rim is bent(from trying to fix the seat post)which caused the back brakes to rub the tire which I just noticed while I was out and about, so I fixed the brakes with my hand tools(aka my hands!) and that half fixed it...

I shoulda just left the seat alone but hell no I go complain about it and other stuff happens...

But I might get a full suspension frame out of this deal if the post can't be broken loose or brakes the frame...

Still sucks though.

I woke up, tried tuning off my alarm clock, but the radio wouldn't turn off...:thatsodd:, so I hit the snooze button and turned the volume down:D

I get up at everyday at 6:30 to go play basketball at my school.:) One of the coaches opens the gym for anybody to go in the mornings, and there's usually about 10 people, I think its a good way to start the day.;)
