So, how was your day?

Well, not of today, but yesterday, was awesome! Hung out with my friends at the workshop putting my friend's S13 Silvia front end back on his 240SX coupe, going out for lunch, inspecting a parts car (turned out to be crap), returned to the workshop to work on the 240SX again, then headed to another friend's apartment. There we played some racing sims, did car talk, then all of us piled into two cars to pick up on of their girlfriends and buy food to make dinner. Great laughs to be had throughout the day and some fun memories.

Never thought I'd find myself to be a part of a great group of import fans (especially in Maine) and have so many parts of my social life improve. From the Middle to High School days of having friends who didn't give a crap about cars to meeting a co-worker who had his own workshop and becoming friends with his group of friends. Things have been pretty awesome. :dopey:

Pretty good day. Woke up and played some World at War then at noon went to work and worked on my future Supra. Replaced the alternator and also the air filter. Then worked on removing the front bumper and the fenders for a while. Plus I saw a Ferrari 360 Modena on a trailer and a Viper drive by work. :D Now I am playing more World at War.

It was ok until a few hours ago. First, my favorite tv show was bumped back because the dumb American Football game went into overtime, after being bumped back to begin with to conform to American Football schedules, which they need to stop making their priority. Now, just a few minutes ago, my sister called us saying her car wouldn't change gears, so now my mom is even more stressed out too. My parents are driving an hour away to pick her and her boyfriend up and are either going to bring them home or bring them to a train station so they can get back to school. You would think that two 20 year olds could take care of something like that by themselves.

See, "The Heidi Game".

I beg to differ.

And that is part of the reason I hate the USA and want to leave as soon as I can. Priorities are messed up. The least all stations could do is have a secondary channel that shows the normal schedule all the time.

Let's face it: I'm not being mean, but you are in a small majority here. People wait all week for football, hard working, at that. If someone took away thier football, they would be enraged, as the season usually only lasts about five/six months. Plus, for most people, Sunday is their only day off or their day with most freetime. Football fans don't want to see their show interrupted.

Yes, I know, sort of, but I feel they need to cater to all audiences, not just the majority. Of course I know that will never happen, and I just strive after impossible ideals, but I can always hope.

Then money and television rights would arise, arguments would start, etc;. Oh well, I guess you can't please everyone.

Below average. Didn't get to kart, but oh well. Did nothing all day, so I slept, played GT5, and waited until now to begin my homework.

FERTBALL is the most American thing that annoys the crap out of me.

I love new dirtbike tires, I really really do. : D

Was going home after driving around last night, and through a twisty section I passed a car. It was a clean pass, lots of room and there was no one around. I then get chased through into the next town, and I eventually lost him and hid behind a baseball diamond.
Freaking maniacs...

Well considering yesterday was my birthday and got to spend it doing something I never have yet. Local karting place offered $15 unlimited races so I jumped on it since never been, charity event and even one race was about half of what they normally are.

Sounds like that guy really wanted to get you. Imagine what he'd do if he did. :scared:

My day was pretty terrible. Woke up, went to school for 2 exams, came back. And this goes on for pretty much the next 2 weeks, albeit with free days in between.

Yeah, that or he thought that I wanted to race, especially since the back of the car is filled with racing stickers. (I definitely didn't want to race him.)

If he did actually want to get me then there would be absolutely no way that he would be able to if I really tried to get away. (Our CR-V vs PT Cruiser.)
I know those roads and the hidden paths, plus he wasn't too quick around corners and our house was filled with about 30 people.

I had a horrible day. Got tons of homework, found out I have a C+ in chemistry (with conferences know three days), and were have a hard test in a few days. I realized also I am not ready for a DBQ I must write tomorrow in A.P. U.S. History tomorrow. On top of that, I have tomorrow to dread because we did really bad at our competition Saturday and we are going to get yelled at tomorrow night.

Not a good day.

Mondays are horrible, even though my day went well I still feel like crap. Oh and my school lunch made me get another stomach ache. Rage face at school.

Been pretty good just played gt5 for the whole day since there's nothing else to do since it's the holidays and it's wet outside.

Well, I took a shower in the morning for the first time in a while and wasn't late, so that was good. School was alright, more talking to other girls and not knowing what to do about it. As soon as I got home I downloaded my copy of The Sword's new album, and it's so freaking good! I drifted in GT4 for a while while listening. I also learned I'm getting hired for sure at a local car wash. The Andrettis used to own it, and now they still come by once in a while, so that's cool. I also don't mind looking at cars all day.

A PT Cruiser? :yuck: That's a good enough reason to run.

 Yeah, it may have been the turbo as well.
Still couldn't keep up to the Honda when the "VTAK kicked in

<_<

yo..." :sly:

Whew, had a party at a friend's house and it was... well... :D
When the guy planned the party we told him it'd be a bad idea to buy strong alcoholic drinks because he invited two of the most well known drunkards from our school and we knew for sure it was going to go wrong.
Turns out it really did go wrong, but not as bad as we thought, more in a funny way. When they were really filled up we decided to go for a walk (at 1 am), which involved absolutely not finding our way whatsoever. (And vomiting. A lot.)
The rest of the party consisted of gaming for us and drinking for them. Around 3 am me, a good friend of mine who didn't even drink a beer and our host split from the other guys and went to bed. This was because our host had realized what a bad idea it was to invite them, and the next morning he'd admit he should have listened to us.

But anyway, the party was still fun even though we had a hard time making the drunkards shut up. Played a lot of games including GT5 and fighters, both of which are my favorites for single-console multiplayer. (Because I usually win. :sly:)

So yeah, today I'm just going to slack off, there's nothing to do anyway and I barely got any sleep.

Mom was really tired today so I got to take the car to school.
I have a second period spare so I went home and used that time plus the lunch break to eat and then dirtbike in the rain for half an hour. : D

I have an ISU next period so I just have another hour of English and then done. :D

Yea! : D
It's a bit weird that my week has been this good so far, I'm not really worried about anything, and things have just kind of...worked. :)

FBLA meeting was canceled today so I didn't have to stay after school. Orchestra concert in 3 hours. Day went well

It was a depressing day. Not that anything bad happened but I just feel miserable. Started to think why didn't I picked my profession and quit school after 10th year. Now I'm in year 12 and chances that I will pass the literature exam is pretty non-existent. I'm pretty good at other subjects but funny thing is that the literature exam is the only one that is mandatory. I absolutely hate that subject, I don't understand it and it is pointless. And if I don't pass it, well, then I have pretty much spent 12 years for nothing. This sucks so bad, there's no going back but no perspective on moving forwards either. On top of that I now have some financial issue and our cat is missing for almost a week now.
