After waiting since Jan, it showed up last night with a 1000 ticket. 👍 I snapped it up & TWO UCD re-freshes later, the 2D popped up. I went to my garage & sold some of the cars I never use, but can get again. There was NO WAY I wasn't getting it as well! How's that for luck? (Or patience being rewarded, maybe? )

Started trying to get it using the new UCD cycle trick by cycling through the Lic tests 5 times. In about 10 cycles still haven't found it or it's brother. Looking for both. Did get the R92C to pop up once.

I used the "cycle" trick on the UCD too,took about 100 tries to get it but it was worth the wait....this thing rocks!

Uncanny. Read this thread yesterday, thought I'd take a look in the UCD as I had 18.5 mil from the Seasonals, lo' and behold! 2J is sitting there half way down.

Took it for a quick spin on Trial Mountain in the Supercar Seasonal, it's awesome and I only did 5 laps. A great weapon after a bit more practice, I reckon.

I'm sure this car treads that fine line between genius and insanity, whatever, Jim Hall was certainly a visionary.

As a slight aside, I almost bought the 2D a while ago when it was in my UCD but went for F2007 instead. Thought I'd try the Formula Seasonal - didn't really enjoy that experience, should've got the classic instead.

The 2D is well worth snagging too if you can, still a very quick car and looks good (I would say "for a standard" but I don't have a problem with standards outside of photomode)

You could have to wait 1200 'days' for the car to show up. GT5cars.net has a handy tool for seeing how long it will be for it to show up.

I just got mine yesterday. Thank goodness for the seasonals. I had only barely enough money.

I wish they would put the 2H in the game.

Just way ahead of its time. The original idea was minimal drag and the structure of an egg (the shell of an egg is weak, yet an egg is relatively rigid as a structure).

It's my favorite Chapparal. The 2J is not an effective race car. Though you can see this same idea of the 2H in play in the shape of that car, the car just breaks down. I don't mean to ankle bite. the car is an amazing idea and better than anything I'd ever come up with.

In a video game, where cars don't break, it's wonderful, but in reality, tracks have a lot of debris on them, and motorsport is primarily a test of durability. If they ever come up with a GT with realistic reliability (and I think they should) this car's stock will plummet.

Enter in the top eight cars in your UCD right now, and see exactly how long it is until you will see the car you want. I did this and it worked perfectly.

I also saw it was going to be forever until the NOMAD showed up, so I traded for it. Obviously not an option for the 2J.

I got this from a 1000 ticket. All I've used it for is the classic race car b-spec. also recently it appeared 3 times within 5 pages worth of used cars

Why not just do some seasonals? You could make 2 million credits without refreshing the entire UCD assuming the 2J was in the latest batch of 6 cars.

Thats what i was doing, after 5 races the ucd is fully refreshed.
was a couple of mil short, did as many seasonals as i could and then sold cars i had more than 1 of, and then some rally cars as they are available in the ocd.

I just used my various tickets up the other day, and got this baby from one of them.. I've been using it for several events, it's just so awesome as something that just annhiliates everything else on the track, so perfect for grinding some races! and I kind of like the 'lets see if I can lap the rest of the field' kind of awesomeness..

So after my previous disappointment, The 2J has just appeared again, only about a week after it's last appearence (Real time, i'd say about 40-50 days ingame).

And this time I had enough money

It's a shame though, because in the same day the Audi R8 LMP race car has appeared, which i've been waiting for for ages. It was one or the other as I only had 15 million credits and combined they added up to 19 million :/. The 2J I know I need for the historic car cup both A and B spec (Don't have the Toyota 7, haven't bothered with B-spec since I had to start a new game with new PSN) so I decided to go for it in the hope that the cheaper R8 will appear again whilst I have the cash in the bank.

Granted, the R8 was the Team Oreca version not the works Audi version, so i'm not too disappointed
