So, tell us about YOUR B-Spec driver...

My b-spec driver is currently running the 24h Nurburgring race. He has never driven before.
Tought, still 7 laps ahead of the second car. He's driving a Toyota Minolta ;)
 
My B-spec driver is named Bob. In fact I usually refer to B-spec in conversation with friends as Bob-spec.

He's an interesting guy.

He can't keep up with the field on the on the Le Sarthe 24hr in a R89C Nissan with a stage 4 turbo, but he just got done doing the Nurburgring 4hr in a Dodge Ram with S1 tires. He stayed ahead of the second place RX-8 despite pitting every other lap. I took over for a few lap and completely wasted the lead he had built up. The RX-8 passed when I pitted, Bob yanked me out of the cab, muttered something about me being a b****, jumped in and got down to business. He had a seven second lead again before the Carousel. His best lap in that race was an 8"02.XXX.

I will never talk bad about my B-spec drive again. Maybe I just need to set up my R89C to drive like a Dodge Ram...

👍 I hear ya... I have honestly gotten down to racing "Rolf" for fun. Le Sarthe and Nurburgring time trials (ie: he runs a lap or two and then I run a lap or two to try and beat his time) between "Rolf" and me. He beats me nearly every stinking time if in a killer car... Sure, I might get a lucky lap in from time to time, but generally the b-spec is faster.

On the other hand, when it comes to other tracks in "baloney" cars of various makes, I can usually still waste him. :)

Go figure... still, he wins against the AI more often than not.

Mine really has no name, but I think I should do something about it, as the poor sucker has been working hard for me the past couple of nights - when you have a pregnant wife and a toddler, your time is most certainly not going to be used for running a 24hr enduro - he won the Swarzwald Liga B, then the Legend of the Silver Arrow, followed by a stirring victory in the DTM race ... he has never lost a race, and has the slowly increasing stats of 3099 B-Spec points, 36, 29, 31 for the others, and not a single enduro done yet - only 11.5% complete.

I think I will name him Schumey ... I think he will end his career with similar records to the great man - especially once I hook up a victory on the 24hr Nurb'
 
I have two names for my B-Spec driver: Atta and Stu! I use Atta Boy for him when he beats the other cars in the race, which is on a pretty regular basis. I use Stupey, on most of the manufacturer races.

He was leading the Saleen race at Circuit de la Sarthe in the last 45 seconds of the race with a 10 second lead before he decides, for some unknown reason, to start doing doughnuts in the kitter litter. (Maybe he had a little too much to drink before the race or overly excited he was leading a pack of S7s.) Instead of coming in first, Stu came in dead last.

Whatever! You aren't getting the black and silver! LOL. I got the blue/white and orange one then the blue/white again :ouch: . Good luck though. I recall very few people getting the black/silv car from what I've read.

I got it on the first try, the Mercedes paintjob one, but I want the Ferrari Red one since I am a Ferrari F1 fan, I want the blue/white one (BMW) and Renult (I guess the green and yellow can be close enough) so I can feel special. I want all of them but after getting the solid blue one, I sold it for it's 1.4mill or so price tag to send me into the 10 million high club, 11.3 million all by myself, I'M RICH BYATCH! (lol)
 
well my guy isn't so great yet...mostly I call him idiot.
I won't steal his thunder, but Jedi has the most clever name for his b-spec driver (it's posted in another thread) :)


can anyone confirm/deny how to increase "battle" and machine stats? I assume that using different cars increases machine stats, and battle is increased by passing other cars (??).
 
My points have all leaped since last time I posted here.

I'm over 7,100, 85, 72, 69 last time I checked.

Use the '65 Silvia for the silvia races, use the mazda L10B or whatever that 1968 white rotary car is called for the RE club, and bang!

Make sure it is close racing for a lap or so b4 your guy gets in front, thats how you increase points.

He's kicking bottom now! 18 hours 45 mins in and he's pitting every three laps set on one, overtake, he done over 160 laps!!! 14 laps ahead of 2nd, 18 laps ahead of 3rd, 19 laps ahead of 4th, 20 laps ahead of 5th and a whopping 28 laps ahead of 6th!

He's using the Motul Pit work Z from the Japanese GT cup, lapping a quickest 6.27 average 7.10 not bad for a brainless automaton! :sly:

Just to update you guys, he won the 24hr (obviously) a storming 32 laps ahead! I came back from an extended weekend away in Poole (great place) To find the nice news. For that I was given a beautiful red (Ferrari looking) F1 car, and OMG! can that thing corner or what! He's just got all the points available in the GT world series on Pro level with me qualifying for him to close that nasty little chapter in my life, now on to expert!

But first I think another 24hr Nerburgring for the astonishing near 3 million in credits for two GT4 race days! all four of those black second hand beauties will be mine ;)
 
My B-spec driver's skill is 7500+ yet he couldn't win the 2nd race in the Diahatsu Copen Races in a fully tuned Copen, so I had to A-spec it...at 7500 skill I expect him to be able to compete on that low level!

so here is one i made earlier, it was at the nurburgring 4 hour race, i was leading so let him take over, i got back and he was 2 minutes behind.

If yes, how well do they transport picture and sound? Have you trained them to be better? You should do it, they become better after some nice words are said to them.

Folks here are simply enjoying an aspect of the game the way they want to.

If you don't like what you read, pick up your marbles and go to another area of the forum or go away altogether for all I care. Although some of my training and background helps me to understand why you make these sorts of derogatory comments, I know I still do not appreciate folks who are happy to hide behind keyboards and pretend they are something at other folks expense.

Well, you sound like a real asshole IRL so I can see why you spend time either: a) trying to piss others off or b)You are a royal dick and zipped you nuts up. If you have nothing nice to say, then shut your piehole and go somewhere where people enjoy hearing negative remarks. Anyways, just shut up and go away if you want to be like that. My 2 B Speccers are Hans and Kruger

Hans is my Long Distance Co driver, he drove 16 of the Nurb's 24 hrs and was on average 2-4 seconds slower than me but ultra consistent as long as I pulled him into the pits every 2 laps.

Kruger is just a rent a hack, he just does crap street events like NY, Seoul, he's a bash and smasher, set to 5 overtake x 3 with the Cien, he cleans up but the damage bill is horrendous.

Guess which tracks I hate A speccing :sly:

They are sort of hard for me to warm up to as well... I can never quite figure out the right turn in points coming off the long straights to the first right handers (I forget which directions but both NY and Seoul have them in one direction or the other.) I had "Rolf" doing NY the other night in a Benz (I think it was the SLG 65) and he didn't like that first right hander either. Every stinkin' time nose dive into the wall at the end of the straight. Actually sort of funny. :lol:

My B-Specer Bob, around 3968 Points has decided he really does not like any Dodge Vipers, rather an annoyance, beacuse of the fact that with fine throttle work, its a sweet car.

I have named my b-spec driver Lumpy Rumblestrip
he had a shakey start on the gt championship series where he ended up putting me in 6th after some intense practice to qualify first. But he has since shown me where he shines....on the 24hour endurances, he hit the sand a few times till i told him to slow down some more in key spots and once he hit the wall and wouldn't come off of it, but when the end of the 24 hours is near and manually I can't control the car anymore(due to needing a chassis refresher) he can handle it with ease. I also use him on the stupid one make races (handled the saleen s7 like a champ). He has proven himself and will be my wingman for a long time..lol

Driver Name: WtF?!
Reason being, when he first strated out that's what I was screaming out at the TV and then he seemed to respond to it. He's close to 8000 points now and were currently taking turns kicking the computer's ass in the F1 Championship.
