according to mygranturismo are these standard cars rare..all of them are 10 on the scale of rarety (based on players with a mygrantursimo garage)
{snip}
none of them is rare to me because i have them all
To preface, mygranturismo.net is a wonderful web site. I don't have a garage there, but I use it for reference regularly - it's a fantastic web site that I recommend highly.
BUT its "rarity" ratings are hugely flawed if you're wondering how hard it is to find the cars in the UCD. The rarity rating, I believe, is decided by user members' garages, and what cars are the least purchased in their users garages. This means if a car is unpopular - ie: not many people bother purchasing it from the UCD, then it will just show as rare on mygranturismo.net.
Thus you have people like zepposi & I who have all the supposedly rare cars.
Myself I have multiples of most of the historic antique cars... which are probably not particularly popular with the bulk of gt5 players.
And how many Miatas/MX-5s do most players purchase? My SO has a ton of Miatas... but owns a real Miata, used to race it in Auto Cross, and loves the Miatas in the game... I doubt most people have as many different & multiples of the various Miatas in the game as my SO.
What I could say is I had trouble getting the old Honda N360 (named "normal" ironically)... And I've had trouble getting many Chapparels... BUT, mostly because sometimes I haven't had enough credits when I see them in the UCD, OR, if I did, they were high mileage ones that showed up in the UCD, so I opted to wait off. I'm rather picky about the mileage... unless the colour is a paint chip I'm really liking. ha.
