hahah i got the idea thinking Comp: ss = compound Sports: soft.

been racing using only those tyres. should be able to crack the minute barrier now.

Had a good slide with Japanese and Nismo.. mega fun. The ol Benz copped a much needed limiter bashing as I've been soft with it lately and haven't driven it much so yep.. :D

I have just (well an hour ago) broke my Nurb R33 PB

To say i'm a little happy with myself atm, is an understatement w00t ****ing w00t yeah! :crazy:

Full Damage / Grip Real + 1 Off (didn't invalidate lap as slowed right down)

R33 @ 706HP "Playing Safe + 1 off" 6:56.710

Of the 3 laps i've actually made it around, this was the fastest hahah, well there are 2 laps on justnotherhuman in the Purple monster rather than Goldie Locks here ;)

I cant Get a complete clean lap in :grumpy: And the only lap ive managed is sitting at 7:19.xxx. The fastest lap I had began manage until the little b**** decided to understeer me into a wall. was at least 5-10 seconds up on my best :grumpy::ouch::grumpy::ouch:
 
I was fully surprised to crack 7 min mark eh, in fact i'm confident even with a DS3 now after this I can crack 6:45 as Dave has ;)

i'll check my splits and post tomorrow / today..later what ever 👍

**This run was in memory of Dave's wheel, may it be repaired by the best bush mechanics known to Australia...and if not may it rest in piece's after being sworn at copiously...
 
Has anyone had to Overhaul their R33 engine yet?

The best ive done with a ds3 is 6.49.446, I think with a clean lap i can get close to dave,s time.

@ Nismo, nah not yet OC'd it and am going to tomorrow as at 706HP it has dropped back to 705HP so will try OC first then rebuild see what happens 💡

But still only 200 odd km's on "Goldie Locks" so prob really doesn't need it yet, will do OC etc and post results interested to get it up to 713HP or higher thans for sure ;)
 
Ok, its just I noticed My 33 dropped from 705 to 694, didnt need an overhaul so I went and OC'd it now its sittin pretty at 711. Also restored ridgity and about to go for a lap...
 
713 must be the limit methinks how many km's on yours...****in video still got half to upload....
 
Wow. You really notice the ridgity improvement. Especially with a really stiff setup and standard ride height. Mine has 258.1km on it.
 
Just Clocked in a 7:07.580. mind you, from 6-7 corners berfore the 2nd carousel i had screwed up both front suspension in a nose into the wall. the incident alone would have lost me easily 6 seconds plus another few dragging it back. But I dont care, still shaved off a good 12 seconds off my best.

EDIT: My R33 is now at 714hp.
EDIT2: Just cracked into the 6 minute mark with a 6:56.xxx (invalid) No corners cut just 4 wheels on grass. Now just to do that valid.

Its ONLY taken me 2 HOURS to do but I have done it. A vallid sub 7 lap. 6:55.823. Still MUCH more room for improvement but right now, Its 4 o'clock in the morning so I'm going to sleep and shall resume my green hell conquest when I wake up.
 
Haha nice work guys, heaps are under the 7 min mark now, this comp is going to be really good on the day, heaps of pressure as only 1 restart, I know I prob will crack, in process of making YouTube account and figuring how to upload this video

You can also export it. in the replay menu, there is an option to export the replay. go to your XMB and go to GAME menu scroll up to SAVED DATA UTILITY, then GRAN TURISMO 5. Find the replay you exported then press TRIANGLE and select COPY, to a USB drvie. then zip up that folder on the pc and upload it?
 
It's not a recognized format of video and only "weighs in" at 1MB. However you can email that 1MB file to someone in the same region as you who has a capture card and get them to upload it for you 👍

Meh already started uploading, next time we have a good vid I'll upload it that way but for now YouTube will do, n can't slide today either as having bbq
