Yea I am but I think may need some more tandem practice first, I suck atm LOL I'm alright @ touge with Accendo, but normal drifting seem alot slower than the pack...

Hope everything has been going well. been way to busy to play gt lately.

Update is though im buying a new car this friday hopefully :) Just a r33 gtr vspec series 3. Ill post some photos up

Yeah I'm keen Ben, up for some friendly competition. Still need some more tandem practice, but I'm still keen regardless, been practicing a lot with the Japanese drifters :). shhh don't tell anyone.

The only problem is how is tandem going to work if car weight and HP are way off, Ive noticed with cars like the rx7 go a lot faster around corners then say a 350Z. How are we going to keep it fair yet competitive. How do real drift comps work, is there a power and weight limit where all drivers are evenly matched or does anything go?

Too hard.. leave it to the experts that have a zillion hours of time on their hands to sit n waste restarting it time n time again or sit there doing lap after boring mofo lap, "OH WOW.. I GAINED ONE HORSEPOWER ON THAT LAP.. PHWOAR!!" I run out of patients for this bulldust and this stupid swearing filter too.. how stupid? what are we five fricken years old? This is................. sit there for 15 mins restarting it a million times because I can't get past 49 seconds on that first hill, stupid peice of garbage spins out after its finished going airborne, I shift down to forth coming up the hill and that helps but until I get to the next corner and understeer in the grass and hey look theres the grass and the wall.. and another restart. Over the past 4 or whatever days I've managed to complete a whole 2 seperate laps. and people are doing 2 second lap times what the heck is with that?

mate you just gotta learn to slide your heavy ass Z car faster as far as i know there usually isnt any weight restrictions in real world drift comps it all comes down to skill ive seen ae86's beat way more powerful cars in comp it all comes down to the driver.
try different lines and new entry techniques experiment i can get my r35 skyline sliding pretty fast its basically a 370z just different shape.

lol, Chill out man 💡

drive slower, fiddle with your car, or don't it's not compulsory to enter by any means, just a bit of friendly inner club competition for those interested to break up the drifting...

And ultimately have a bit of fun, if it stresses you out don't partake simple...👍

Its just a bit of fun, I have bought my r33 but I havent even driven it yet lol. Let alone try a lap on the Nurb.

Sorry for my outburst.. didn't mean to offend anyone. Going through alot of 🤬 at the moment and everything kinda gets to me sometimes, was feeling pretty pissed off at the time and yeah.. my failed efforts at playing GT5 made it worse. :(

the must have updated the forum skin. all better now :)

i just finished a lap on the ring in the r33.... it was a slow lap but damn it was hard. i got a 7:18 with the wheel, while holding onto it for dear life. :nervous: well that is what is seemed like. lol

I really need to sort my car out(s14) or get something new. 4th gear power skids are starting to get annoying as I cant gain any speed to keep up with others.

Im thinking ill need to either drop the hp down at bit or soften up the suspension to try and get some grip. Way to slippery!

Same problem with my Lexus GS, except that power skids to the top of the rev range in top gear, it gets real annoying... The thing can slide Tsukuba in top gear and get 21,800 points though, so i'm not complaining ;)
I think we should have an all team meeting. Put an Ad thing on the OP and if people don't turn up and don't give a reason they didn't you can put them in an inactive members part of the OP. Just a suggestion ;)

I agree, we need an all team meeting. But the problem is that not everyone can get on at the same time. I know there's a few time slots for different people as everyone has different family commitments. I usually cant predict what time ill be online - it just comes down to when I have a spare hour. But yea, it would be good to drive with a big group cause usually I only catch a few guys.

I think once kris's series starts and I set up the drift comps the team will unite. The friday night session will work its way into everyone's schedule

I dunno about you guys but I reckon we should give TOUGEFC the title of team photographer - he's been posting some brilliant photo's!

Maybe we could organise to add a southern sliders watermark to the bottom right corner to photos? (thats if you're already bringing them into photoshop? not worth the time/effort otherwise)
 
Thanks, I don't mind being the team photo, as long as everyone is cool with it, and I can add a Southern Sliders water mark if you want, just let me know what font ;)
