The names seem random but it was supposed to be an A-Z kinda thing.

Thanks, I don't mind being the team photo, as long as everyone is cool with it, and I can add a Southern Sliders water mark if you want, just let me know what font ;)

Sweet:) I have a few ideas for the watermark, ill try a few things out and get back toy you:tup:

Just did a quick one to give you an idea-

Sweet Shot! The signature is cool, but could the words be slightly closer?

Words closer, are you meaning put them on the same line, or move the bottom word more to the left, or bring the bottom word closer to the top?

Bottom closer to the top i reckon.

I dont have the font on my computer at work, but im thinking something along these lines

Ok, i can do that its a bit more fiddlely but can be done,
as before , thats the closest i can can put them as one watermark, because where i type the text i just wrote the first word then pressed "enter" to drop onto the next line and just spacebared the second word across, i dont have an option to gap them any closer.

But it can be done a bit closer if a make two sepreate watermarks and move them both closer, if you know what i mean lol.

I only used word (LOL) but i had to make two watermarks too.

FYI i'm in the green silvia ;)

Yeah thats nice too, Im thinking the full name "Southern Sliderz" would be better to use than just "SS" Because non-members probably wont know what is "SS" is, but im fine to do whatever is decided:tup:

I just wish PD make a patch to fix the pixelation on cars when smoke appears!

lol @ Heath
Dont take it too serious mate ;)
Its just a bit of fun, I have bought my r33 but I havent even driven it yet lol. Let alone try a lap on the Nurb.

Same here mate, bought and fully tuned, but havent done a lap yet. :)

Hey guys! I've been away for for the past two days for an Australia Day holliday, but I've gotten back today! Just thought I'd show you some of the pics that I took before I left. They're of my 370Z and my mate trying out his C-West S15 :) hope you like them! I've got a whole bunch of other pictures I've just uploaded to my Flickr account, so if you could take the time to look through a couple of them, that'd be great! :D

My favourite of all your pics, nice job & thanks for the support on the font choice 👍

Just on another note, I've been experimenting with other drift cars. It seems regardless of weight, my drifts are still not that fast, either I'm in a s13 or a 370, everyone seems to just bump me cause I go to slow. My drift style is slow and smokey. My drift style is based off how gran tourismo scores you as you drift. My best drift score to date has been a rank of 298. I have been consistently getting in the top 1000 rank for all the online drifts, so I can't be that bad according to the scoring.

But how accurate is the scoring? I'm sure it's not perfect, but is it teaching the right way to drift or is it way off? Im not to familiar with drifting, only started showing interest in the last few years.

What are peoples views on how to drift correctly?

I dont think the gt scoring reflects actual drift scoring. As far as i know, points are based on how close you are to the driving line.

Just did a quick one to give you an idea-

I'm thinking I'd love to try running a chase (grip) camera car see if we can get some odd angles and different idea's?

Thoughts? 💡

also for those interested, I ran a 7:12.51 in my R33 in a Night Lounge Race i'e standing start 1x 9sec short cut penalties + 4 off's lol (only minor, well 3 were) 4th hit on last corner onto big straight & boned the front left...hence not being able to hold max speed on straight and loosing time also...

afd29287.jpg

So if I can run a clean lap with the same tune that's 6:45 easy I reckon @ night!

Of note your 6:45 or under on the day WILL be from a standing start! not a rolling start ala practice mode...

Shortcut penalties will also be on and I got the dates wrong 1st one will be Friday 11th not 12th ...derp

So i guess it's teaching me crap really. Guess I shouldnt be to fussed with how I go on it. Oh well back to usual online drifting. Thanks anyway Ben.

I'm not really a fan of the drifting scores as you just follow the driving lines to score higher, not sure how comps are scored but in my opinion as long as your sliding with smoke and have clean entries and exits of the corners then your doing ok, an accendo ive seen you drift, you are good, if you want more speed try less angles, but I think your doing good as is

May I please join your crew ?

PSN : SamiiJay

Thank you :D

Good session earlier on today with Dave, got some good pictures from the race and will upload later.

Yeah I saw that video Kris, didn't think 6:45 was possible, can't seem to crack below 7 yet.

Yeah thanks for the tip dav. Is that you david? Yeah I guess I should do less angles, makes sense actually

Out of interest for those under the 6:45 mark in the R33 practice so far...

I'e the faster of my 2 cars is no where near the "stock" settings for diffs, vcd, susp, trans & brakes...(even aero)

Are you using heavily modified tunes or just stock settings on AM parts?

I'e not asking for tunes just your opinion on the level on adjustment required to the car for sub 6:45's is it a nasty tune or just a tweak here and there?

Cheers

Mines stock tune, everything bought except wing and bodykit, lowered slightly and increased the spring rate, don't know how to really tune cars, I'm sure LSD settings would help heaps though

ooo rlly? hmm...clearly a better driver than me haha 👍

did you fix your wheel Dave? or are you hacking away with a DS3 now?

also I believe from some testing last night 361Km/h is the R33's top speed...could be handy to know for a coming future challenge :sly:

So far ive tweaked the suspension a bit. Slighty lowered, with some positive toe front and negative toe rear. helps with cornering at speed.

Im not a sub 6.45 yet but im a sub 6.50, if i can nail a lap cleanly ill sub 6.45

I have tweaked just about everything on my R33. I cant handle the stock tune.

Nah won't be fixed for a week or so, so it's ds3 for me, btw my lap is on YouTube but I don't know how to link it, if you's look up thegreywolf89 it's there, but it missed the first corner, and at the end is my cockpit

@ Accendo
Did you know that drift trial is actually different physics to online and time attack it is actually easier to drift on d trial than online
But that dosnt matter because as Dave said you are a good drifter as I said in an earlier post to you work on your entry you have enough skill to have the car sideways before the corner this uses less braking and is alot faster going into a corner fast drifts are all about driving line and yes as Dave also said angle

literally just copy the link and paste it, the forums youtube jobbie seems a little broken lol
