Heres what u do, make a big vinyl to go over the whole car, dosent matter what color, then, make the car color to something metallic. experiment with lots of color combinations

You can also do something similar to get flat colors. Select the flat grey color from the car paint section and then make your car one big vinyl and you can have any flat color you want.

how do you make the vinyls go over the whole car?

Just go to each area of the car and select the square vinyl and make it as big as the side/front/top/rear of the car.
