Don't you mean right? also: do you use the same setup if tyre wear is on?

When tyre wear is on you slow down to about 2.2 secs a lap from 1.8 however your setup should not need ajusting at all from before.

Hyperspace.... literally

ooohhh... the losers!!
everybody is kicking you when doing donuts.
got kicked multiple times now during races.

now i just circle slowly along and when they hit 100 laps,...the donut beast comes loose.
then they won't quit to kick me. lol

making my own room works pretty well and kick the donut burners out!! LOL....lol...
1.5 hours 20 mill. its worth the afford!!

The reason they are kicking you is probably you are probably finishing really fast which still nets you the full 3.6 mill but everyone else in the room gets way less because they completed very few laps.

Could you blame them for kicking you in that scneario?

Yea that's true and almost happened to me (I left first)

I do this 3 times, just win the last time and i think the price is worth for driving in perfect circles at 11 mph for 20 minutes.

I'm know i'm a bit behind but just to confirm it's the GT-R '07 that you use for this?

I still cant do the doughnut trick for this and more and more people are doing it now. My method is just driving round in a circle like everyone else but keeping the speed at 13 / 14 mph, this is the perfect speed as you can do 3.9 / 4.1 laps constantly

Yep, same here. Can't nail down the donut so do 4 second laps doing 13mph.

Just won my first race doing that actually!

3,619,200 credits 1,176,000 Exp 👍

Just knocked out a 7:49 minute time on softs. I know ill get a 6:XX time eventually

lol knocked out 7:55 on stock tires (sport hard) at 3km/h (DONUT)

did ssr7 for the alfa romeo that looks like the ferrari breadvan.... now im out

You know you're a tool if you are "cheating while cheating" and then being glib about it. What I mean by that is there are people here actually gloating that they have sub 2 second laps. Oooh you are sooooo cool! /rollseyes...The funny thing is, that while they think they are screwing others by "winning" they are actually screwing themselves over more because they aren't getting the higher overall payouts by waiting for others to finish. But you "win" right!? Damned idiots.

I just try to teach others in the room how to do donuts and find the line quickly.

I know it's cheating but if I'm going to cheat, I want to do it as quickly as possible such as 1.4-1.7 second laps for everybody in the room.
Don't want to be waiting around 20 mins while people drive around in circles and in some cases can't even find the line.

I bought GT5 to enjoy racing, drifting and stuff like GT academy. I have all the games dissapointling few A-spec events done and the B-spec finished so I'll happily take a chance to get money quicker to buy more cars and tune the 4-500 I already have to enjoy them more rather than spend time trying to fund them by repeating races over and over again for only payouts that barely buy you a full set of tyres.

Alot of the tuning in GT has always been far over-priced but winnings for races have become alot smaller since you don't get prize cars anymore.

PD will more than likely patch the glitch somehow but until then I'll make as much as I can and then can go back to proper racing again.

I don't like duping and was glad they fixed it in 1.07 even though it should have been there since the start.

This glitch still requires abit of skill (not much but some bit all the same) and cooperation from as many in the room as possible...
That's my justification of me getting 20 million in less than an hour anyway :D

got to level 40, I have 20m credits and every single car i want in the game.... now i'm bored with nothing else to achieve. lol.

lol I've got nothing to lose at this point. It really would make no difference to me if I made it to level 40 while doing this. Got nothing but endurance races and FGT championship left anyway.

I just want to get the silly leveling system out of the way and have money to buy and race my favorite cars. It has no place in the game the way it is. At least I'll be able to buy X2010s and have both 24h races unlocked before the ability to save during endurance races comes. Looking forward to doing them. Take advantage of this while there's still time guys. :)

Just looked at Kaz's Twitter page and saw this:

Measures have been so in the next update. RT @ zinneanne : @ Kaz_Yamauchiオンラインでバグを利用した金稼ぎ部屋が横行しています。 RT @ Zinneanne : @ Kaz_Yamauchi is plagued by bugs in the room using the money work online.

I suspect a fix is coming soon.

Soon is a very loose term in PD world.

Also it's ironic that the fix will render the game back to it's previuusly broken (ie mandatory grind) state.

How do people perform successful donuts in ss7? i hav tried it multiple times but i am not able to do it consistently.. what's the trick to it?! :(

is it just throttle control or mainly steering??

thanx

Traction Control - OFF
ASM - OFF
Skid Recovery - OFF

Sports hard or less

50/50 VCD if you have it.

While I didn't dupe or anything. This glitch is nice, because of the 20 Mil credit limit.

Playing the game is not a grind. Seasonals give you unlimited "things to do" in Single Player to earn credits and XP. If you feel the need to have every car now and level 40 now, that's your choice.

The game was meant to be played over time, not finished in a few months. You get out of it what you put in.

Stock car (any of the GT-R's).

Front: Racing Soft
Rear: Racing Intermediate

All ads OFF.

Take map to 1 in options, and use View Track in menu. Use that as a guide to line up your donut. Slightly let off the steering to get to where you need to be. Midfdle of the 2 Parallel lines and on top of the thin line doing donuts around it.

yesss..Every time I try my donut drifts off aways from the center.

If it's only 2 people what are the rewards?

I am racing it because I want the Muria, the 20 million Ford GT, the 20 Million Ferrari, the other high price cars, and it is ridiculous how much grinding you would have to do to get them all. I paid my money to get a game where I can race the cars, not one where I have to grind for years to get them. I could really give a rat's azz about the levels. I just want to drive all the cars that I want. 20 million is way too much for those cars. The highest price should be 5 million per car.

Guys. A tip for those learning to dohnut, when spinning and needing to ajust your postition don't let go of the throtle just let go of the steering briefly when you are facing the direction you want to adjust too, and then bobs your uncle.
This is probably the most useful post in this thread. I'd been trying for ages to do donuts with no success, and letting off the throttle produces unpredictable and often large movements of the car. But using this, I was able to move the car slowly around and find the sweet spot. Constant 1.6xx second laps.

Some guy pulled off a 7:03 race while I was there

The game was meant to be played over time, not finished in a few months. You get out of it what you put in.

First off seasonals haven't really been good (for me) outside the first two. Now they are just more unrestricted Aspec races missing both the challenge and payout that made the first round of seasonals so great (not to mention they aren't regular and they go away both of which I consider pretty hefty negatives - I shoudln't have to play my game on PD's schedule just to have some game to play).

Secondly the assumption that there is a grind ONLY if I want the game finished now is pretty flawed... no matter how long I stretch it out there is the same grind ahead of me... whether I cram it all into a few weeks or take it over years... the broken leveling system, the poor payouts/car prices are all still there.

The seasonals help with that a LITTLE in that they at least offer different races, but again, the races they do offer are broken in the fact that I have to make the challenge... I have to make the game... that's not how it's supposed to work. Seasonals round 1 and 2 were potential saviors for GT5 but those are long gone.

Also while you like the hyperbole of implying that anyone who doesn't want to grind for months or years to complete the game must want to finish it in a few months, the truth is that EVEN if you use seasonals to offset the grind, at only a handful a week you now MUST take years to finish the game... even if I don't want to finish it in a month, how is a solution that doles out little bits a week at a time forcing me to stretch the game out for years not also broken?

There is a lot of middle ground between squeeze it all in in a few months and foce me to take years to avoid a grind.

Lastly you are focusing on the symptom and telling me that it's my fault when the reality is the cause is the real problem and that is PD's fault.

I don't want to finish GT5 in 3 months... I enjoyed GT4 far longer than that and definitely wanted GT5 to last longer than that... I don't know where you get the idea that people who resort to shortcutting the grind WANT to finish the game fast... I just WANT to grind even LESS than I want to finish the game fast, THAT'S the problem and again thats not my fault... that's PDs fault.

So when you say playing the game is not a grind, I am sorry you are wrong. It is absolutely a grind. There are only 3 choices:

1: Grind - a LOT. If you stick only to on disc content (ie if you have no internet) you MUST grind.

2: Rely on seasonals to get around grinding. Great but seasonals haven't offered anything special or particularly enjoyable since season 2 and if you rely on this you get little dabs of things to do once every few weeks (unreliably) for years. Also bear in mind that you will probably STILL have to grind just to get the cars to participate in seasonals (*ahem* Ferrari Challenge *ahem*)

3: Take shortcuts. People don't do this because they want to... people didn't pay $60 in hopes they would have no better option than to shortcut their way through a badly laid out game. I am pretty sure almost everyone of us hoped for a game that would offer as many years of deep enjoyable content as it took to make the game... but given that that's not what we got and the other two options, I don't see how you can blame anyone for taking choice 3... not because they "WANT TO FINISH IN 3 MONTHS" but becuase they really DO NOT want to do the other two options and honestly there is only about 3 months of content in the game... the rest is artificial filler and THAT is what is being skipped.

BTW also remember seasonals are only a solution (in there limited fashion) if you have access to the internet. A surprisingly large portion of the world doesn't and for them the game is entirely broken.

I tried it a couple times, but kept losing connection to the server when I'd get about 50-60 laps in. :(

I give up; I'll go back to the rubber band grind.
