The private Jets are all over the place (San Feirro, Las Venturas (at least 3 here). They are really useful for "cross-state" travelling. They can get you accross the map for about a minute of wait. I still haven't found the Jet though...Maybe at Area 69.
 
The Fighter isn't at Area 69.
It's on a whatchamacallit...

That boat thing with planes on it....

I don't know where exactly but there is a part where it isn't fenced off it's just a wall and if you get a flatbed or any truck that you can jump ontop of then jump and you'll hang on the wall then you'll be able to go over and wala lil exploring in the airport and you find the jet! OR Sahmal(I think that's what it's called) The dodo's there too.:)
 
eff the flight school get into Los Santos Airstrip and steal the Private Jet and fly around for awhile and you'll eventually get a pilot's license after going back to the airport a few times.;)

Once you have a certian level of respect you can order a certain number of gang members. You'll get a notice for it.

Just press up on the d-pad and the number you can recruit will follow you around and shoot anyone that shoots at you, or shoot anyone you shoot at. Press down to keep them in a certain spot, and hold down to let them go away.

The easiest way to get respect, besides missions and killing enemy gang members/drug dealers is to go on a highway chase. With 2 stars, you can get a good amount of respect in about 5 minutes. Real easy on the long country roads, too.

If you wanna skip traffic all together, then use the railroads.

You get a suggestion to purchase it from Mike (keep forgetting his last name). You buy it and you can go to the flight school.

I know a crude way of recruiting members!
This works only sometimes but....

Punch them untill a sign saying Gang Strength on the top left has a plus and then the guy will say something like "Are we gonna roll homie or what?" and then they are following you.:)

Luckily the guy I just recruited has a Tec-9.:D

Theres a Riot due to Tenpenny getting off of a bunch of charges.
The GTA3 and VC riot codes have nothing on this... Just wait till you see it...
 
I can't kill the preacher in Jizzy's first mission. This is frustrating. His Limo is too fast.
 
Just catch up and shoot, like a drive by, it onlyy takes a few seconds of shooting on him. I finished it first attempt, I suppose I got lucky.

BTW Has anyone else seen the "bridge facts" about the Gant bridge.

Just next to the Gant bridge there is a sign of facts, they replaced the real facts of golden gate with the ingame bridge facts..

Its on the main SF side on the right just below.
 
I actually found the preacher mission fairly easy. I just got on a freeway, took out the escort vehicle first, then I chased the limo through the countryside until it blew up. Just make sure you get plenty of Tec 9 ammo before starting the mission (much, much cheaper than an MP5).

And if anyone is looking for a great insane jump, first unlock Las Venturas and the desert. Then, get a very fast vehicle (PCJ-600 will do just fine), and head towards the place where you shot down helicopters in the mission 'Interdiction'. Once you are very close to the spot, there will be a strange looking 2 story shack. Leading away from the shack up a 'ramp' will be a wooden path. This is you jump. Head to the back of the wooden path, and hold down the x button. You will then perform what is porbably the game's best insane jump! For added effect, try doing the jump at dawn or dusk.

Wow my skills have improved with pistols. I found the cheetah and I was chasing it but it drove off and I shot at it three times and I ran over and I had shot the guy in the head!:dopey:

The cheetah hasn't changed a bit except for some nice looking gunmetal wheels.👍
 
Has anyone noticed the "guest" in the mission "Farewell my Love"? It's none other than the hero of GTA 3. Ties in nicely with the game too. If I remember correctly GTA 3 starts with the hero being left for dead by Catalina. It's been a while since I played it but I'm pretty sure.
Also I've found a potential girlfriend in one of the towns, Blueberry I think. She's shooting at targets on a roof near the Ammu-nation with a blue marker above her. She didn't like me though 'cause I was too muscler!

Yeah, it was pretty good. Nice smooth take off and you can retract the gear :dopey: I wonder if I'll ever be able to get it to shake off a heat seeker? It takes 2 to knock it out which aint too bad.

When do I get to customize cars?

I am sorry if these have been asked, but I read the two most recent pages and I don't want to accidentally get some plot or mission spoilers. I just wanna get to the screwin around... :D
 
You find the van at night. Near the gym I think.
Have you done a customization mission yet? That's the place to go. For now anyway.
 
Customization mission? No. Who has it? So far, I have for the three guys the OC Loc, Sweet's girl, and not sure about Ryder's mission... Hmm. I will check Ryder. I hope I don't have far to go... :(
 
It's the mission called 'Cesar Vialpaldo' or something like that I think. After that, then the body mod shops open for you.

EDIT: When your turf is under attack, if you start a mission like Taxi or Robbery, the turf is no longer under attack and remains yours. Does this happen on anyone elses game or is it a glitch thats happened to me a couple of times?
 
I think Sweet's Girl is pretty hard... right? Oh well. I'll try it.

How much are mods? Good prices? And what's a good way to get money. I have a scant 4k right now, after 980 bucks from my first burglary. :D I can't find any drug dealers and the hookers don't have much money, it seems. I did a little taxi too...
