Which region would you like to see Standard cars getting the Premium treatment?

TT DTM,it would be great to upgrade it to premium!I love that car,it was my favourite car in GT4

Vote 1 for the falcon XR8 v8 supercar.

I am a holden guy right ( I drive a vn 5 litre in real life) but as its the only historic Australian racecar in the whole game that represents Australias top tier of motorsport I think it is more deserving of premium treatment than the 2 holdens. Both Holdens need their sound re-recorded or replaced with the 2004 gto sound IMHO.
 
^^^ GT straight up needs moar aussie cars. No XY Falcon GTHO???? Of all the ommissions... it's right up there with the E30 M3 imo. Just the most obvious cars, completely forgotten. What the hell..
 
great news. I even would pay a bit for it, maybe around 5 Euro per package. A release of ten or fifteen cars per package would be cool, so you can decide by your own, which one you want to.

They should also sort the package by car class. Don´t need a package, where a Mitsubishi Cold is in with a Mercedes C9 LeMans...hehe :D
 
I don't think doing it by "region" is necessarily the best way to go about it... maybe there's a way PD can track usage of the cars via GT Life and, so, update the most used standard cars. While this may mean my beloved 91 Celica GT-Four may never be updated, I think it's the fairest way to do it.
 
i would like some of the the “premium” car finished before they start doing things....i just crashed #42 montoyas NASCAR both bonnet and boot flappe open at a high speed crash....and whats under the bonnett of one of theese “premium” cars nothings just black....come on PD thats one of the car youshould have finished...have pics on my ps3 to prove it. sort things out before moving on to standard cars

..I remember a list of improvement classified as "rumor" from a user in neogaf.... this list contains also the upgrade to premium cars.. anyone remeber this post? it was reported also here on gtplanet.. maybe this guy was more than a simply user 👍
 
I doubt they'll update the "best" cars as a priority. I would expect to see it undertaken relative to the complete car list. ie. you could expect maybe a few kei cars, a handful of japanese coupes / sedans, an eccentric/antique, a couple of Super GT cars, and then a few race/road cars from the western world.

People will shout "WTF DEMIO PREMIUM BUT NO VEYRON!?", but I truly believe PD will stay true to their age-old philosophy when updating the car list. It's always been this way, and I know in some ways it makes no logical sense, but it is a defining factor in the GT series.
 
Europe/UK aswell.

Hope they make ones of the RUFs premuim.
 
Personally more premium cars won't make me play GT5 longer...if they don't add more events soon GT5 will start collecting dust...
 
I'm always astonished at how overrated the Veyron is.

Personally, I hope they won't push too much on supercars, which in the end are (at least to me) the least fun.

Anyway, I'll take any premiums as I can get. Not surprised in the least anyway, PD has supported prologue in a great way, and it's only predictable for them to do the same with their flagship title.

Not that this will make most of the naysayers happy anyway (like some of the comments show), since most of them simply love to bash the game, and no improvement to it would let em enjoy more than trolling the boards.

To simplify it ... just start at the highest HP and work your way down! :)

good news, BUT, wake me up when they tackle the biggest problem with the game, horribly limited Career mode, and unbalanced credit and XP system. More events. All the premium's in the world wont help this.
 
according to Adriasang "Among the standard cars are some historical classics, and we plan on remaking them as premium cars"

So, historical classics it will be, which is very, very fine with me.

Please stop posting lists of cars you wish to be Premium. You will have no chance to influence the decision by the developers, so it´s unnecessary to force user to read about hundreds of car lists.

I would do the opposite.
Race cars and exotics are the cars I find the most boring to drive in GT5.
They're good for farming credits and xp with b-spec drivers, though.

This will impact on how I would like to progress in the game. At the moment if a premium version is due to be released I obviously would want that version. This throws out some nice but unexpected problems.

Will it be free? Who knows. Will they get added straight to your collection if bought with real money? Who knows.

Some cars needed half a year to be finished. nd that´s the reason why we have only 200 of them. But also a fact most players have not kept in mind and now they are crying.
 
All RUF cars must be premiums so once and for all, i can say that i drove a Porsche in GT!

This sounds very good, looking forward to how this will pan out.

Though am much more looking forward to the online leaderboard atm, which hopefully will be available in the "late Decemeber" patch.

You could argue that DLC cars should all go into your garage if you pay for them, but that would really screw the RPG level style PD has chosen for the game.

Also, you have paid for the 1031 cars on the original disc as well, but access to most of them is very restricted.

If you drive a premium RUF it's a Porsche.
