How's the new lambo and jag everybody? I won't be driving them until we get an update that lets me DELETE DLC cars from my garage. Who else is putting their garage into a specific order?

Why can't I select 'no' without judging?

I have no clue why you can't delete DLC cars, I think it would be a good option though.

Why didn't you make a poll with "Would you like to be able to delete DLC cars from your garage?"

I also don't like the fact they can't be deleted, seems a redundant safety function since the cars are made available to buy in the dealerships.
But that doesn't keep me from driving the new DLC cars though, perhaps it'll never be fixed, just be more careful when buying those cars.

I've got to ask, why would you want to get rid of a car that you've paid for with real money?!

Not sure about others, but I, for one, want to get rid of all the DLC cars I've paid for with virtual credits.

Why didn't you make a poll with "Would you like to be able to delete DLC cars from your garage?"

And this. Yes, I would like to be able to delete DLC cars from my garage. Not because I've got my garage in a particular order, but because I need more room.

I would maybe vote or share my opinion on this, but I will not because of the following.

It becomes really annoying to see so much aggression in both thread titles, thread bodies and polls in last 2 years. And it is getting worse each day. Is those kind of "complimentary profanity" really needed? Does it make you a better person? More cool? Does it make your opinion more valid? Mature? Thoughtful?

What is the intention behind usage of words "screw", "dumb" and overall negativity context in this thread? Also, isn't the actual poll and idea behind this thread already covered by thread from 2 days ago which is available with the very poll on the Page 2 of this forum?

So if you already had the car which you bought in the DLC pack but knew you didn't like it, why buy another one?!

Its because you never have been able to delete DLC since GT5 was released. I bought the US Collectors Edition and I cant delete the chromeline cars. It has been dicuss many times already here. Use the search function on gtplanet please.

Who said I didn't like it? I bought one of each color for the paint chips, and now I'm stuck with the cars, taking up precious space. In retrospect, a silly mistake, but it simply didn't occur to me that I wouldn't be able to delete them.

There's a big difference between stealth and chromeline cars and all the latest DLC. The former you can't buy in the dealership, the latter you can.

The first time they offered DLC it could be argued you paid for each single car with real money but since they've made the wise decision to make them available to buy in the dealerships you effectively pay for additional content, not real money for every single car but real money to have those cars available in the game.
So they should be treated as every other car in the game in my opinion, if I want to delete any other car already in the game for whatever reason it could also be argued I paid for them with real money simply by buying GT5.

Amar,

You are spot on. Somehow people have a desire to emphasize their opinion or statements written on the internet or e-mails. I work at a customer support service. The agression in messages is frightening. It is getting worse by the minute. People seem to think they have to use strong language to get noticed.

Also, because of forums like these, people have no need to deal with dissappointment. They can blurt out everything, without any consequences. People lose the ability to rationalise and frustration takes over. All because everybody writes down their opinion and others feel they are left behind. This creates a desire to try and reach some sort of acknowlegement.

I have to say, that this development in communication concerns me a lot. But only time will tell where this behaviour will lead to.

What do you mean 'putting your garage in a specific order'? Do you have extreme OCD or something? What's wrong with the filters the game already offers?

There is no difference in the DLC. It is the same for all DLC. I can not delete any DLC cars at all. I have been fine with this since GT5 came out. It is well documented about this. If you don't want to keep the cars don't buy them. Refer to the thread about DLC cars as well. Almost all the answers are there for you.

I too would very much like to be able to delete the DLC cars. Most of them I'll simply never use for anything and they annoy the heck out of me. I like a garage with relatively small number of cars that I actually like. Had I realized I couldn't sell them, or at least delete them, I would have just left them in the delivery truck forever...

Really, it's kind of absurd not being able to get rid of these things, just another one of those "weirdnesses" about GT5.

To everyone referring to chrome line, or other DLC/unlockable things that can NOT be purchased with virtual credits, thank you for mentioning what we all know and understand. That is different from something we are paying access to. That is a special bonus for whatever reason we got it. Yes, we surely technically paid for it one way or another, but we did not specifically pay PD/Sony for the access to it.

Why is it that if I pay them for access, when I get them I am forced to keep them. Maybe I want to buy the Aventador in every color to see what I like best. Well now I can't delete ANY to make room. Have you ever purchased something in your life?

Yes.

Now imagine everything you've ever purchased is sitting in your living room.

Maybe when you only have a few cars, it's fine, but when we have pointless caps without solutions, such as the garage cap, it is not something that should stay in place.

And for all of the people talking about hostility and aggression, I am a bit worried about you. I used the term dumb as a joke. Referring to it in a kidding manner, because maybe some people think it is a bit crazy to do that. Joke.

Chill.

Any exclamation points? And all cap/yelling sentences? No. It would be hard to even think of that as passive aggressive.

And amar, as much as we are all on the edge of our seats waiting for your response to this thread, if you aren't going to write to give your opinion on the thread, then don't write anything at all.

GTP is starting to get a little to intense with the conversations here, on everything besides GT.

No, it isn't.

Really? I cannot delete any DLC cars in-game. But I can delete my chromeline cars easily by simply removing and re-installing the game data. If I really care about deleting that chromeline of mine, it can be done. It's entirely different for the latest batches of DLC.

And, of course, there's another significant difference between the stealth and chromeline DLCs and all the latest car packs, you cannot get more of the stealth and chromeline cars, yes, the ones where there is a way to actually remove them from your garage, but you can get more of all the latest DLC cars, simply by purchasing them from the dealership, yes, the ones that you simply cannot remove from your garage.

That looks like a rather apparent difference to me, and nothing like it's the same for all DLC. Good for you if you don't have an issue with it, but as has been pointed out, a lot of people do, and IMO, rightfully so.

I am away from my PS at the moment but have heard a rumour that we can now delete DLC cars from out garage. Can anyone confirm this for me? :nervous:

After 2.04 update, I tried to Delete the crappy Nissan "Leaf" that was included in one of the DLC packs. Didn't work for me, said could not be removed. :grumpy:

Yes, you can still remove the Leaf, I did last night with the 2 Minis.

hahaha so, the only true it's reality... I will try at home later, so I finally can delete my second Mini 2011 (the original one in DLC, crappy black colour)
