I'm sorry to say but I'm bowing out.. Too many changes and I'm sure it will continue.. I wanted a fun time but I don't see why changes have to take place. I thought to be a drivers race things should be more limited and I could have worked with that but after working on my car to get it up to my speed( not as fast as everyone else) but I was happy but now have to change everything again to be close to the times people are posting it is not for me.

I just got the 1.07 update and it doesn't calculate tires into the pp system anymore. My car went from 590 down to 548! Now what? Set a new limit of 550 or something? At 378hp, 1100 kg and Max downforce i am at only 557. Looks like PD may have thrown us a bit of acurve ball.

Oh goodie, more complication. I wonder if everyone's dropped to 548, or if it's just gonna mix this whole thing up again.
 
Well if we get an idea of where everyone dropped to we can pick the highest number or an average and go with that. I'm sure they will be close to if not the same. My 548 may he a bit skewed as my wife took my car for a drive when i was at work and she said she changed some things. I think she only turned on traction and asm but don't know exactly.
 
I just got the update. I had 4 cars tuned to 590pp, now all 4 are at 541pp. VMSTech, maybe your wife gave your car a bit more power or downforce.
 
Never occurred to me to check my other cars. They are either 541 or 540. So i guess the new limit is 541 then? Still RM tires of course.

She bumped up to a bigger Turbo. And here she was bragging how she almost matched my lap times on a course... some people!
 
OK it looks like they just chopped out the tire contribution to PP and everything we've already done remains the same. I really hate having an odd number for the PP limit (it's the ocd in me :lol:) but no more changes before next race.

541 it is. And Race Medium tires.

Zyber I'm sorry mate but I can't make this weeks race. Sorry to let you down but I'm away from home and its unlikely that I'll be back in time so it might be worth letting a reserve jump in.
 
Zyber, I'd love to race but I have exam Monday and Tuesday and will be away studying so I can't make the race. I should be able to make it next week though. Good luck with the race tomorrow!
 
Sorry but i can't make the race. Got a service call to a place over 2 hours away so i wont be back on time. Sign me up for next week though.
 
Hi, I'm kind of new here.
Figure the best way to introduce myself is to join a race!
I'm pretty clean, but still make a few mistakes, so please accept my apologies if I put someone off. I can lap consistently at any rate.

I know it's a late entry, but if there's a spot left I'm game.
In all likelihood I'll just find myself some space and pootle along.
 
The race wound up with only 6 drivers since several couldn't make it.

The results confirm that I suck at Fuji. One lap 1:42.5, next lap in in the grass getting a penalty for going off track, then another penalty when I drive across the grass again to get back to the track.
 
Who won today? Sorry I had to leave.

This week I hope I'm staying in Sweden so I can get time to arrange for next Sunday :)

I got your note about and hour after the race ended and didnt think to save the replay.Maybe someone else did...

Not sure this is right

1.A1-242
2.IforceV8- +4.9 sec
3.RFLX_Niop- +8 sec?
4.cobrius- +10 sec?
5.GTP_Cobramustang
6.HaylRazor

It was a good race for the top 3,i think we all lead at one point.I stopped at the end of lap 10,A1 and Niop on lap 11.When i stopped i had the lead and A1 managed to get out just in front of me coming out of the pits.We had a close fight for a few but i ran wide and fell a couple seconds behind.I didnt even notice until lap 14 that cobrius did'nt pit and i was running 3rd not 2nd.If i had been paying attention i would have been been pushing A1 down the straight instead of racing him.We both caught and passed cobrius on lap 19 as we were both running 4-5 sec a lap faster.

My vote for the next track is Nurburgring GP/F.Its more of handling track compared to Fuji which was all about top speed,maybe some of the other cars will be better at a track like that.

I saved the replay (painful though it is...) I will check the results. I really wish you didn't have to play the whole d.. darn.. replay to see the final results. Why isn't there a final results button?

I also vote for Nurburgring GP/F or GP/D.

EDIT: After waiting over half an hour for the replay to finish it cleared all the timing data and restarted. I didn't know it would do this. I just assumed it would show the race results. I'm not suffering through it again.

I will just correct the finishing order. I finished 5th by slightly over a minute and Cobramustang was 6th by almost 2 minutes after running his front tires down to the cords.

Another close race, could have been any of the top three to take the win, it seemed to go in my favour after the pit-stop. Thanks again to ZyBeR & HaylRayzor for setting it up, especially as ZyBeR didnt race.

Nurburg GP F is fiine with me.
 
Small field today, but still a great race. Congrats to A1 for the win, and thanks to A1 and Iforce for the good battle. And Nurb GP/F sounds good to me too(much better than Fuji lol)
