Forgive me if this has already been asked, but what is the purpose of the super license?

well, for one you get the race synthisiser
Isn't it called the Event Generator?:reallyodd
I guess it's also kind of a bonus, to show that you're good enough to get it or something.

not sure, but none the less they would both do the same thing.

purpose of super license

well, the game thinks that if you get this license your a very good driver and it unlocks the event synthesizer which is supposed to be hard (not in the 'scud it aint ;))

I am pretty sure I didn't get the Event Genisizer
I completed all the liscense tests (I have the Super liscense), but do you have to get a medal for each test. I was going for the Super liscense and I was racing with the Alfa Romeo on the Rome Night course test. I lost by about 2 tenths of a second, and it gave me some little green book (called something like the kids choice award or some s**t like that :p ). Then it awarded me with the S Liscense :thatsodd: ? :( :) :D 😈

that was the Kid Prize/Award
its like a, "well... you suck, but I guess you did enough to win something...... " prize

green book? i want one, even if it is cos i suck, which i do!
:P

In my experience, the "kiddie prize" exists on some versions, but not all. I missed a lot during my first shot at the B license, no special dispensation was given to me...oh well.

The only time I got the "yellow and green books" was by converting a GT1 game save to GT2. If you won all three licenses in GT1, then you are awarded 20 "books" and the A license in GT2. (Do a "Convert" in the Data Transfer area.)

I got that kiddie prize on the rome night test too. i kept trying and got bronze after a couple more tries. It's sorta insulting, isn't it? I picture some little kid sitting cross-legged in front of the TV with mommy watching the clock

Over the weekend I tried a couple of the event generator races. I love it. It's not very hard, true. But you get some cool tracks, like Seattle short in reverse. Man that threw me off
