Great turnout tonight with 14 participants. Thanks to everyone that was involved. We had really good, clean racing with no major incidents. It was alot of fun!

We are doing another mixed class race next week with Super GT500/300 at Fugi GT. We will post the regulations and number of laps by early this week. My lobby will open at 8:30 est. Qualifing to start at 9pm and race starts at 9:30. Hopefully we can start close to on time.

Just a note I'm firing my crew chief for letting me run out of gas in the bus stop on the last lap with a 6 second lead. Any interested applicants please fax me your resume.

The chef hired for the team must have served the pit crew some wilted greens in the salad. I say speak to the chef before going at the pit crew straight away.

Here is a list of the Super GT 500/300 cars. I've run a lot of Super GT leagues and these cars are all fairly equal. There are a lot more of the older (JGTC) cars, but they are usually either a lot slower or a lot faster. There should be enough cars on this list so everyone can have a good choice.

Can I suggest we run the Super GT 300 cars at 350HP? I think most of them are over 325 stock and these cars handle 350HP very well, especially on racing softs. It will help some of the cars stay equal IMO.

Ok sounds good gt500 at 500hp and gt300 at 350hp

I'll get on later a do some testing for # of laps and have all the regs up by the end of the weekend

Enjoyed the race last night. Gotta love that track especially the bus stop.
Lost visual contact w/ tissimo after the first lap-he was really quick in the Viper. After lap 7, I barely encountered any traffic-for the longest time there was no one was even showing on the track map. But running hot laps in that Nissan was strangely relaxing...nice lulling exhaust note.

So did DJ say he couldn't keep running the Series?

Glad to hear you had fun. It was a great experience with 2 classes on track.

The league will continue even if DJ can't run it full time. I'm going to get together with him and iron some things out. We have a great league and a even better group of racers and will continue. As for right now I'll continue to host a race or sprints on Friday nights to keep us together

I think we will be fine. We have enough proposal from members for races. I can record races, post results and photos. We can chose maybe three members to be stewards and give penalty's if a complaint rolls in.

I think you have to run one of the newer NSX's dangit, premiums only in the GT500 class. I'm going with an NSX also, they are fast if you can control the oversteer. I'm running one in another series, so I'm sticking with it. 👍

What I was trying to say but couldn't due to my mic yesterday was that I have a new job and may not be able to run the 3rd season of Super Tuner Car. As you all know I have a newborn (3 months tomorrow) who has already impacted my schedule and now this job will make it tough for me to maintain the league. I haven't received my first schedule yet but I'm preparing for the worst. I still want to keep this league going though. I think we have assembled a great group of clean racers and we have lots of fun and I don't want to lose that.

If anybody would like to volunteer, I can assign MODERATOR status to one or more individuals on our league website. They would be able to create or edit threads and post race results and info on the blog page.

I plan on continuing the alternating Thursday/Friday schedule and hope that Roadrash can continue hosting those nights. I will try to make as much events as possible. I will still try to take pics and post those online in my free time as well.

In the end, I think this group is just to good to let go and hope you guys feel the same way.

DJ you know you can count on me for what ever you need. My schedule is very flexible and have no problem filling in for you when you need me. As for the moderator thing......well you know my computer skills........but if you need me to I'm there. Take your time and figure out how your schedule is going to be and we will go from there.

As for now I think we should keep doing what we have been for the last couple weeks. We a had a great turn out Friday night with 14 participants, a good clean race and no major issues. I think everyone likes the longer race as opposed to the sprints so I'll keep it going in that direction.

This coming Friday we are doing the mixed Super GT and I have a couple more ideas that we can do in the weeks to come as well as some suggestions from other members. So in essence the league is still going strong we are just racing for fun instead of championship points.

Awesome, thats great to hear. Man i was getting my butt KICKED right now by some random dude online. I was using my SuperAutoBacs MR-S on Fuji GT and was running an average lap of 1:40 with occasional dips down to mid 1:39's and he was always at least 15 seconds ahead of me!!!

That guy was fast.... I had better top speed on the long straight than him, but his acceleration was incredible. I watched the replay of the race I was in and his best time was 1:35.2, mine was 1:37.2, I have no idea how I could pick up 2 full seconds.

The regulations for this weeks GT500/300 race at Fugi GT are;
GT300 at 355hp and GT500 at 502hp

The race will be 30 laps plus 1 parade lap, single file to facilitate a rolling start.
Same rules apply as last weeks race. If your not sure of the rules they are in the original post on page one
The lobby will open at 8:30pm est. Friday. The track will be reset at 9pm to start qualifying. The GT300 cars will enter the track first and are not permitted to leave the track. The GT500 cars will then enter and all cars will qualify at the same time. The race will start at 9:30pm.

The winner of each class will receive a level 22 gift ticket

Be sure to copy and paste the sign up sheet and make your choice of car and class

I've rarely run that track. Started trying it out last night @350hp but didn't get under 1:40 while car testing.

I can't remember if my HP was at 350 or 355, one of the two. I was in the Toyota Wedsport Celica.

I ran a couple 1:37's in testing at 355hp but averaged low1:38's. Mid 1:31's at 502hp with the GT500 cars but need to do some tweeking to my GT-R before Friday
