Should we all turn off our mics before race start?

Ok doing some testing now. We are going to have a 1100kg weight limit for LM GT. I ran about same lap time in the Ford GT Spec as I did in the CLK.

DJ If you add that to the OP that would be greatly appreciated

I'm going to test that today because i was 2 seconds faster, at least in that car I'll let everyone know by this evening

In Javs Gt series the clk-lm runs 1150kgs and is equal to the Viper. Both are at 600/1150.

All the LMP's and Group C's are equal at 630HP in my eye's.

Yes I agree we won't change them. Had to do something with the CLK. It was way too fast for GT

Ballast it 30kg maybe. The regs. you suggested is just as good.

Have you guys picked a track for this event?
 
For the start of the race Friday....after we line up single file for the parade lap as we are coming to green I will call the start as we did in the NASCAR race we ran; the count down will go..."ready...ready...ready...green,green,green". I will be calling it as the pole position car nears the start/finish, after the entrance to pit road. Hopefully this will avoid confusion and eliminate any early collisions. Let's have a gentle mans agreement not to pass before the start finish as we go green.

The GT cars will be approx 4-5 seconds slower a lap than the LMP cars, I am setting the end race timer to max, so hopefully everyone should finish.

What are the average lap times for LM GT?
 
I was running 1:37-1:38 in the Ford GT Spec 2 in testing
 
Thanks I needed something to compare my times with.

In testing in another series I think I was about the same with the viper. Will put in a few laps later today and see.

OK guy's just a reminder the race is tonight in my lounge. I'll open up at 8:30 est. We will have open practice till about 9pm. I will then reset the room, set the restrictions for the GT cars and they will all enter the track for qualifing, please be prompt in getting on track so I can set the restrictions for the LMP cars. Once the GT cars are on track they are not pemitted to leave the track and enter the tuning screen. We will qualify for approx. 30 mins. We are doing a parade lap before the race to facilitate a rolling start. We will line up single file in the order that you qualified in with the LMP cars first. I will call the start as we did for Nascar, "ready, ready...green, green, green". The GT cars will get passed by the LMP's, the GT's are to hold there line and the LMP's are to pass off line. Just be smart and take your time, this is a fun race, so enjoy yourself. The race will be 31 laps. I will award the winner of each class a level 22 car gift ticket.

3 car lengths between all cars during pace lap. No passing at race start until you have crossed the start/finish line.
 
I'm going to try to make this race. I should be done with the SuperGT race in time to make qualifying, if not I'll just start in the back.

Haven't really had a chance to choose a car yet, I'm leaning toward the NSX though. LM GT class.
