Feel free to jump on in. The more the merrier LOL. We always have room for new drivers. Just jump into my lounge at the appointed time thats it.

EDIT: Looks like you beat me to posting LOL. We generally switch tires depending on the event so be on the lookout for races with regulations that suit you better.
 
I will probably run some more practice laps tonight--will post it here if people are on. Only did a few yesterday.

2:04 with the Subaru and 2:02 with the Mitsubishi. Still figuring out braking points. That first turn gets me 99% of the time. That Active Yaw Control is interesting. Gets rid of the understeer on AWD cars.

Steering wheel driving me nuts...need more practice...

I tried racing my EVO (same as yours snoopy i think) and on the straight my wheel would go back and forth non stop. I could not get the car to go straight. I adjusted everything i could and no fix.

I switched to the subaru and problem gone. WTF? Even with the problem gone I still am at least 5 seconds slower than I was with the Dual Shock.

I think the Active Yaw Control is causing your steering problems on the straights. I replaced it w/ the adjustable LSD on my EVO and the problem disappeared. The AYC is supposed to be a newer technology, but I just couldn't handle the wobble. Maybe, if I was a better tuner, I could get it working better.
The first night I got my wheel, I hated it. I thought it was a big waste of money. Halfway through the second day, I fell in love.

Ooh i'm gonna try that. As it is the fastest i could run is a 2.05ish and i was averaging 2.08ish. I have to get the hang of not spinning out with the wheel LOL
 
Hey Ryce Bouy, I actually have the IS 200 GT-1 Race Car '04. It's a Lexus. Why is it in the Korean section ? I will trade it to you. That's one hell of a collection you've got.
 
hey logan your suggestion worked! It actually feels totally better. Thanks alot. I just ran a 2.04.362 in my lounge! fastest i've gotten yet with a wheel. Guess i'm driving my S7 Silver EVO X afterall. Thanks logan!
 
Glad I could help. When I was using the AYC, I was wobbling so badly down the straight, I thought the cops were going to pull me over. I'm going to be piloting my midnight black pearl '07 Evo X. I've always liked Subies in GT, but was suprised to find the Evo quicker, at least for me.
 
I wonder how many people will run the EVO. You and I make two and if i'm not mistaken I think snoopykuan is planning on running an EVO as well.

hey Logan, thanks man. What do you want in return? I am sending snoopy the ticket tonight so I won't be able to send anything tonight. Yeah its weird. I know the IS models are Lexus but for some reason this is under the Korean cars :dunce:
 
I might be in the minority driving a scoobie. I hope I can come up with a decent tune before tomorrow night!
 
The cars seem pretty evenly matched madwi. Snoopy and scorpion are using subies (I think).

Btw great practice session guys. I went from 2.05 to 2.02ish. Thanks for the advice. We should run more practice sessions like that more often.

Still undecided. The Evo TM '99 was at least 2 seconds off pace so I may go with a newer Evo or STi. Probably just me, not the car.
 
I'm hoping to get a little more time to fine tune but my little girl has taken over the ps3. She loves her netflix LOL.
 
If I make it home in time I might join in. I have a tuned Evo from the Not A League event a few weeks ago.

Friday traffic is usually pretty gnarly, though.

So far we have 9 guys in with only one being booted. yesterday one of our guys from canada had trouble jumping in.

Coolracer is the one having trouble staying in the lounge for some reason
