Points updated on time this week fellas!

I'm done reviewing both the races and there was some really good action going on. Especially during race 2 between JT, Red, BK and Envy. I got a strong feeling Logan would have been right there with them. This track, with its long straights, gave the Mazda's a top speed advantage and I believe Mike won both the races with the biggest margin of victory in this series so far!

Great racing Mike and congrats to all the podium finishers. Pics will be up later today or tomorrow.

We will probably see the mid to low 2:04's by QT on wednesday. I haven't been on since race day. Might try and get some practice before the ND game or before the NASCAR race today

I think the Alfa and the BMW must share some of the same characteristics. They require tracks with some grip to reach out to their potential. The Nurb does just that.

PICTURE TIME!!!

Race 1 @SPA

Mike wins Pole Position with an amazing qualifying time of 2:25.103!

-L2 Bad start for brett who goes off track at the Rouge. Rough pair of races for Brett. Better luck next week on your home track!

Driving like mad but I can't match the straight line speed of Scorpions Alfa.

-L3 JT gets a good pass on Envy at Les Combes

-L3 Mike driving well but Red and Rash giving it all they got!

-L4 Envy catching JT on the straight and fighting for his position back

-L4 Rash gets a little sideways at the Rouge!

Just a great battle between these two heavyweights

-L4 Scorpion gooses the throttle on his Alfa and slams into a wall just past Stavelot. I narrowly avoid wrecking him as he re-enters the track.

That was a tight squeeze!

Giving Scorpion all he can handle up the Eau Rouge!

-L5 And here ends my thrilling battle with Scorpion.

Many passes would happen here between these two

-L5 BK grinds the wall entering pit lane and somehow ends up stuck in pit lane. Pit Glitch? Sorry BK.

-L7 Rash just can't compete with the speed of the Alfa on the straights. Can he make it up in the corners? These two have an intense battle for second place but in the end Roadrash comes out on top.

In the end though Mike wins by a very comfortable margin! Congrats MIKE!

Race 2 @SPA

Mike gets pole by virtue of his race 1 victory

-L2 Nice pass on turn 1 if I do say so myself...

-L2 Roadrash gets through Eau Rouge quicker than Mike and jumps into the lead!

-L2 Red decides to get in on the action! Can he hold the spot through Les Combes?

The battle behind the top three is just as fierce!

-L2 JT with a great pass on Envy at Bruxelles

-L2 Scorpion drops a tire exiting Bruxelles and takes a hard ride!

-L2 BK continues his climb from last place by making a pass on yours truly down the back straight.

Looks like its gonna be another back and forth draft battle into Les Combes

A Great battle went on for many laps between Red, JT, BK and Envy

BermudaKID threatening to make it 3 Wide!

-L5 JT heads into sand trap ending what was a great 4 car battle

Scorpion trying to pass Brett but Brett is holding on strong!

-L8 Things get close and physical between BK and Red!

Once again though, Mikes Mazda is just to much to handle and he once again cruises to another comfortable victory! Congrats once again Mike and Congrats on sweeping the two races!

Will Mike have what it takes to take the wins at the Nurb or will BMW finally top the podium? Find out next week!

I should clarify a comment I made last Wednesday during the second race. Mike was leading and I chanted "you can do it". It may have sounded like a anti-Camaro, or anti-Roadrash comment. It was neither. I have great respect for both Camaro drivers and they could probably drive a dump truck faster than I could drive a LMP car.... I was happy to see that yet another manufacturer was heading for the checkered flag. In the earlier races it may have seemed like the Camaro had an unfair advantage, but now some of the other manufacturers are showing some strength.

Even if you were cheering on a particular driver there would be no harm in that. I think we all have enough respect going on here that we can respect each others biases and/or favorites if that were the case.

After forcing you into the sand at Motegi I wanted to race super clean and in fact didn't block when I saw a pass coming. I have to agree, we had a great battle going and I had a ton of fun racing with you. I took great pleasure in filling your mirror with the shiny image of my "burple" M3.

Good thing PA doesn't have a track in the game.....

I think each car has its advantage and disadvantages.

The Nurb appears to be another close race. So far this is the best feeling track for the Alfa. The Mazda and Camaro seem to be strong as well. Should be a fun one.

That guy fought like a girl, hence the scratches, good thing all his buddies jumped in. I was jumped by 3 guys. My brother pulled a guy off me and then he got jumped by 3 guys. My brother got his bell rung but we are fine.
