Rules and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ICallShotgun) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manor.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combine with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Results and new race posted
back to bed.

Ick man, that sucks. Friend of mine had pneumonia in Dec/Jan...ICU, tubes in chest and back, the whole deal. Almost died actually cause his general practitioner didn't think it was pneumonia. He's on the mend now but was very rough, not like I have an understanding.

Anyway, get better in as much time as you need. Bed and rest is pretty much all you should do for a while, as I'm sure you were told.

No worries ICS. I figured something serious had some up. Just get better soon so you can get back to racing. Health is always first priority. I just had deleted my first qualifying attempt last night ironically, thinking it was a previous qualifying attempt. Little did I remember that it was my advance work towards the race! Oh the power of PBR and conflicting memory card space/other race series. Anyways feel well and get some needed rest.

Hope you're feeling better Chris, you probably have too much blood in your alcohol system. I never got as much as a cold when I drank quite heavily, of coarse I killed millions of brain cells (I'm sure you all can tell) and abused my liver, but I never got sick. Germs would jump on me and realize they could never live in that environment. I Don't reccomend this course of action so just rest and eat chicken soup.

I felt something wrong was happening. Get well soon:tup:

Ouch, just good to hear you're okay 👍 If it makes it easier for you, perhaps we should suspend the series for another week to give you some time to heal up without any stress. I'd support that as I'm sure many of the other drivers would too...

In any case, all the best, and get yerself well soon now, ya hear? ;)

Sorry to hear about your illness Chris, and hope you are on the mend.

As to the suspension of the series for a week or so? I'm easy! (ask the misses) Don't mind either way, whatever you choose is cool with me.

Neil

Hmm things are looking really close near the top of the GT500 leaderboard... gonna be a photo finish to the season :trouble:

@Andy I like the way you're thinking

@ everyone Thanks for the well-wishes. It wasn't too bad as far as these things go, but I couldn't keep anything down so ended up IV fluids for a couple days. now THAT'S FUN. Now if I could only figure out how to do that with a beer...

Anyway, I'm back on the mend, but I haven't touched GT in almost 3 weeks.

As for the series, I really hope this is the last hiccup. I'll be back in the saddle for the 2nd half, although none of my best tracks are on it. Who made this schedule anyway.

Please note that the submission deadline is still SUNDAY at 6p CST (GMT -6).
PS, did i get that GMT time right in the 1st post? :dumb:

Yup!

Spot on.

Erm!
I may not be able to do this qualifying, a certain little lady is threatening to make an early appearance!

I'll keep you posted.
Neil

You better keep me updated there bud, she's even getting me anxious!

Not so much of a panic now for tonite, but you never know.......?:boggled:

Of course I'll keep you informed buddy! You will be the first one I tell outside of the immediate family, count on it!

Neil

:tup:Best of luck Neil the Misses and the Baby {not necessarily in that order though}

The bab changed her mind last night, decided it was not convenient for her to make an appearance at that time! (Typical female! )
So;
Managed, after some TLC to the misses, to get a qualifier run done today.
Might re-run it tomorrow (circumstances allowing), but at least I have a stand-by time to fall back on.

Neil

Time from yesterday, sent!

Times sent. Smooth all the way around on my run.

Time submitted. Not much time spent on the track at all and it will show.

Pretty much the same here.:guilty:

Those Celicas need more weight ! :indiff:

No,I think it's not the solution.
I could win this qualifying with your car or with the Subaru but not with mine.I suggest to take out the Celica for five laps with my settings and let's compare the results.
I will try out the other cars at home I promise.

If I had more time, I could have maybe shaved a few seconds off of my GT500 time. Ah well... :guilty:

On to the race! :D
