Holy crap guys, sorry for asking in a freaking forum, I made a mistake by not checking but you truly show you have more problems by the way you respond.

ANYWAYS whats the difference between supported and compatible? Will I be able to use the T80 or not?

Compatible means the share and home buttons won't work (as they're not physically on the wheel IIRC) so you'll need to use a DS4 for some functions. When driving it should be fine.

(just edited that)
EDIT: sorry, I've actually forgotten which is which hahaha. Basically you'll need to use a pad too

Really? My T80 has share, options and ps home buttons.

Oh then I have no idea. Think I got it confused with the T100 which was a PS3 wheel that would also work on PS4 in some capacity. If you've got all those buttons and it states PS4 on the box then I've no idea why it's not on the supported list.

Yeah it even has a PS4/PS3 toggle switch.

"T80 Supported? Topic." is quite abrupt and that's why you got the answers you got.

IIRC the G25 wasn't officially supported by GT4, but you told the game you had a DFGT and it was all fine, and we're looking a similar situation here. The T80 won't appear in the list of wheels you can select in the game but it will probably pretend to be a T150 so that the game will find it and it'll work fine in game.

No, I got the answers I got because people decided to be smart*** about it, its simple if you didnt want to be helpful(not you) dont post, the topic hurts abaolutely no one.

just tried the wheel out for a few minutes......

The wheel does work, but it was very twitchy at defualt.... I tried to calibrate it but couldn't find how.......
If the wheel is supported, does this option come automatically? Which means if it's on ly compatible, you can't calibrate?

Same, wheel played like ****.

I have been using the wheel with Pcars and I am more than happy with it, being on a budget.........

It just needs to be calibrated........

If I can

This game seems completely unoptimized for PS4, theres not even a setup in options like in PC.

• Internal memory for saving the wheel's steering sensitivity:
The steering sensitivity level that you have chosen is automatically saved in the product’s internal
memory, even when the console is powered off or the wheel is disconnected.
Therefore, there’s no need to change the sensitivity level again every time you start up a game.
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING PLAYSTATION®4
- Set the wheel’s USB sliding switch to the PS4 position before connecting the wheel to the PS4 console.
- In 1 player mode: if your official PlayStation®4 gamepad controller is powered on, you must switch it to
controller port 2 in order for your wheel to be functional.
- On PlayStation®4, the wheel is only compatible with PlayStation®4 games, and will not function with Playstation®2 or 3 games.

- In some racing games, don’t hesitate to test out your wheel’s 3 steering sensitivity modes, to optimize its precision and responsiveness.

It was A combination between myself Imonack21 and GirlRacerTracey on the Kunos Forum figured it out.
I had A simular Issue with the T80 on the GT6 and I got information from Thrustmaster, I believe Imonack got information as well, and GirlRacerTracey added the Advanced Settings. I made the video, and I updated it with more information to make it even better than before.

The Only short coming is there is no

Look Left
Look Right or
Look Behind You.

But now it drives great.

Or switch view modes, but thats the wheel itself(touch pad) Which sensitivity setting do you for PC?(And for Driveclub) I've been using Low due to ignorance.

Project CARS and Drive Club are optimized for the Thrumaster T80. So I reconfigure the T80 as W Wheel and NOT as A DS4 Controller, Which means the settings are in game menu options. So just set it to where you like it for your driving style. I hav'n't driven Drive Club in A while,

but here is an old video for P CARS

Nice, did you find driveclub easier with a wheel?I'm pretty good with the DS4 and horribly sucked with the T80, game is faster than what I can respond to.

I use A wheel for all of my driving Simulators and Games, it initially was different, I wouldn't say harder, it was just a matter of timing, wheel input, and wheel settings. Once i got acclimated to the wheel it was the only way I wanted to drive. Give it a couple of weeks, it will come. The first thing you will began to notice is the ability to make smooth steering inputs with the wheel, Long sweeping curves are A breeze. Driving without ABS or Traction Control is so much easier.because the of the ability to make precision pedal inputs. So just give some more time.

Were you able to drift in DC?They now added that if you touch anything while drifting you lose your points, how clean was the drifting with the wheel?

I HATE!! Drifting . I could never understand the reason for driving slower sideways, just for the sake of driving sideways.
Yeah I know it is A legit sanctioned sport, but so is Curling LOL! Curling , is
actually a sport. But honestly, what is the point? Sliding stones across a strip of ice to a target, with people frantically sweeping in the stone's path, hardly constitutes a sport. This is one of those sports that only makes sense when you've had too much to drink in an extremely cold climate, where there is really nothing else to do.

That's how I feel about Drifting. The real test in car handling is how the car is actually going to be used, and that is threshold handling.
Drifting Faaaaaar exceeds the limits of Threshold handling, :idea:Not to mention the amount of tires and fuel wasted to do it.

But that's just my opinion

Hey easy on the curling. Lots of beer to be drank playing curling.
