I'd take the shot from the other side though. The sun may look really well on the shot but it seems the jaggy edges on this side are way higher and more awful then the jaggy edges when you'd take the shot from the other side 👍

Just my opinion though :lol:

A reflection touch over the chromed pieces could made it easly more spectacular, but the scene is nice. Cool monster shot.

Yeah I know, I could of done a lot more to make it look better. It was late and I didn't feel like doing too much. I thought the original shot looked good so I didn't want to change it too much. Thanks for the comment Alex. :)

Always willing to hear everyones opinion. I just used this because I had it sitting on my drive, don't take photos there to often. I will take your advice and shoot from the other side the next time I go there. Thanks for the comment Bram. :)

I thought I would post this, me playing around with gradient maps. I always liked playing around with them, but haven't done anything with them with my GT shots really. So here is some combinations I thought looked alright. The first is the original shot and the second is the edited. All the rest have gradient maps on them. :)

I'll recommend you this one:

Use the blue/red and yellow one and change the blue to black, red more to the left, yellow as well and add a new stop with white 👍
 
i like them all as a whole pic actually. it looks very artsy. i think you should just leave it like that, and put a wide, white border on it. then a colored or black and white signature on it, and it'll look chic. but that's just me. great work!! i'll be waiting to see what comes out of this.
 
Great mix of colors...the 1st and 3rd shots form the right are better IMO. Cheers mate and keep doing more experiments:)
 
Yep, I think 2nd and 3rd (1st and 2nd editted) has the more natural look. Well, I you want an artistic look, to exagerate the tone can give a cool images.

As UltraPink said, it's nice to enhance the photo playing the color balance.

I like the B&W one too, I might have to do more shots in B&W sometime. Yeah, that is one reason why I did it. Seeing Ultra's cool shots, plus I always used to play around with gradient maps.

You can get great effect if you get the right colours together. :D

Thanks for the great comments guys, I took Ultra's example and tried it out. Hopefully I came up with something like he was thinking. I added a dark grey next to the black for more defined shadows. I also made a black, blue and white one. I like it, it has a cold feel to it. I also added a big white boarder which jgda9rs suggested, which I think works well. Enjoy. :)

How you would like it that's up to you, I just recommended you trying out this one, but just play around with it until you feel it fits the picture better. It kinda looks a little bit dark, so I'd suggest taking the white filled bar more to the left 👍
 
very nice updates lately. yeah, the border looks great ! then again, like ultrashot said, make it the way you feel like it. that's the best way to do it.
what we have here are suggestions. for me, i would have taken all of the color test shots and made it into one whole picture, and then border it. then again what you did looks really great too. just make them a little brighter now that the white border kinda makes the pic dark. see what you come up with next. btw, i have to say i really love that pic of the chevelle. i know i seen it before, but there's just something to it. i'll be waiting for the RAM update too.
 
Ultra: You are right, I did play with it so of course it wouldn't turn out like you would of done. I guess it is on the dark side. It's like jgd said in the next comment, the white boarder brings out the darkness more. Thanks for the comment, I might try some more later. :)

jgda9rs: I like the boarder too, but I think I might stick to my previous boarder style. I could use this style for certain images.

That would be a cool idea with all the images together, I might make one and post it up. I'll use a different picture.

That Chevelle pic is a good one, the first picture I ever took too. I like how it came out with the little editing I did to it. Ram update?? I wasn't planning on doing a Dodge Ram update, did I say I was. :dunce: Thanks for the comment. 👍

A very powerful drift and a very good battle shot in the Toyota set, very good mate. Love the soft look, gives a realistic "touch".

swedish meatballs!! i love this new update. yeah your second comp entry would totally i think. i dont even think mine is up to the theme at all. not so sure. what are u using for editting btw ? the z4 looks so nice too. can u post a bigger version of it ? (sorry for asking 2 much :D)
