Tank Car + oil change =

Oil goes in the engine. He's somehow putting oil in via the front axle.

All oil changes look silly anyway because whilst you do drain it from underneath in most cars you fill it up from under the bonnet. GT5 mechanics must've mastered reverse gravity.

Oh, thanks for that.
I like the car washes, especially the bit where they spin at the end :D

Why? FGT has the engine at the back, he's changing it at the back. The Tank car is more lol because he's changing it from the front Axle.

What I find more cringe worthy is that any car, the wheels don't sag downwards as the car lifts off the ground and reset itself agan after lifting it up. I can tell you that on 99% of cars, the wheels will hang lower if you hoist it up. Makes the cars look like paper cutouts...

I know that the Tank Car's oil change is in the front axle, and the FGT's engine is in the back, but look at where the dude's hands are... can't say what it looks like on this forum.

I actually like these little GT-isms. Like in GT4 where the guy went in one end and crawled out of the other, I don't think the guy had time to do it with some longer cars. The car wash spin still makes me smile and I've been watching it since GT1. Imagine if we had to sit through the guy doing an actual oil changed. Zzz

Yeah, but then we'd see him just wipe the oil filter clean and re-install it instead of replacing it. Or filling up with oil from the waste drum out the back...

I have to say, though, the car wash is excellent. My cars stay clean for thousands of miles! :sly:

Based on the fact that a NASCAR pit stop went from 14 seconds in the real world, up to 90 seconds in GT's world, I'm somewhat surprised it doesn't take 20 minutes to drain and refill the oil in a 29L tank engine.

Worst prize car ever. Even worse than the Prius.

Wrong. The Tank Car is better in every single way than the Prius. That is, unless you base your race ar purchases solely on fuel mileage, in which case the Prius would still be a terrible choice.

As far as the FGT goes...last time i checked, formula one(ish) cars didn't have drain plugs under the car. It should be a dry sump system.

But...i'm thinking the animation of taking the engine cover off and draining/filling the oil tank would have probably been asking too much.
