You're not mistaken, part of it is indeed wrapped. I think in exceptional cases like this (considering the amount of work that has gone into it as a whole) I think it looks really tasteful.

Here's another Z (this is from the UK). It has a carbon roof, bonnet, bumpers, spoiler and boot.

Gotta love the adjustable trumpets.

Rare occasion that I'm okay with bolt-on (as opposed to being incorporated into the body) arch extensions. I'd still lean toward functional over tasteful, but that KE looks spectacular.
