I noticed McSqueegy did a couple Family Cup races to influence his Versatility scores. I'm really liking this idea, I may borrow it as I do Heavyweight & Supercar.
Wrong wrong wrong wrong WRRRRRROOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!all you need for quarter is well setup diff, correct tires and suspension that can deliver the power to the road, and of course, some decent power.no need to think about overall balance, how car will behave when weight shifts repetitively from side to side, or how the car will deal with acceleration/deceleration AND turning, or whether it's able to power out from hairy situation..
And that's coming from someone who prefers track racing!!I don't mean to be mean or something, but you make it sound too easy. If it was that easy, having the fastest GT-R on the world wouldn't be a big deal. I would want to see the tuning garages put a GT-R as fast as mafs' on the Strip. It's much, much harder than people think.
I agree and disagree to a point. Yes tuning skill plays more of a role, but if I couldn't drive the 🤬'ing thing properly I would NEVER have got my times, let alone come close to them.On the track, skill plays a big part to set times. Take holl01 for example. What I consider my best on a track, he could probably break that time by two or three seconds. On the quarter mile, however, driving skill doesn't matter so much (launching and shifting only, and it doesn't make much of a difference between drivers), but rather tuning skill.![]()
I'd say so, I recall him purposely installing it on the one he had in the garage which I believe is exactly the same.
Judging, how going is it?
GUESS WHAT!
Finally tested the last of the lightweights, now onto finishing those middles (not many to go, I promise!)
Scores will be up tonight
Wow, thanks a lot mate, I'm glad you liked it.I call this a masterpiece!

Looking forward to seeing what people can muster up for the second half of middleweight, still a very open field!
