The Veyron and others were removed because they were spectulation. There was no solid proof at all, and now, I am also starting to find where the original DB7 came from, and may remove it.

Super 7, Tuscan Mk2 Convertible and Sagaris in game.
 
hmm... the Veyron would be the ultimate purchase for this game... especially with their mastery of engine sounds... god... ;)

The Veyron doesn't sound like anything special. Listening to some videos of it, it sounds like muffled turbos, which is pretty dull.
 
I agree, the Veyron sounded mighty, it had a right roar on it when you push it. At lower speeds it's quieter and more tame sounding but as soon as you start to give it power it roars into life.

actually it sounds like a Ford GT, but bigger and meaner. pretty awesome.

Sounds hell of a lot better than that, the Veyron is a true engineering masterpiece, the Ford GT was made from leftover parts. lol j/p

Back on subject... the Ford GT sounds mighty good in TDU too :)

I hope you're joking. While they sound good at idle and low-revs, they sound like the same electric razor as GT when you get up to the redline. I hope they tweak this a bit more before the final version.
 
well i'm not joking. I just played them back to back (500 and Lotus) and they sound a LOT better on TDU. Like, easily 10 times better. Note tho, i'm not using the TV's speakers, i got a good sound system. That might make a difference.

Speaking of Lotus... here's the new released screens. Sweet, they make the Esprit it seems! Gna!

but we have, you can get an idea of how a car sounds from a TV program, sure it's not exactly what you always hear from insider the car since it depends on the placements of the microphones but the sounds are right.
 
The game is looking better and better all the time.
 
Is the official site not working? Whenever I try going there (last week or so), it's just been a black screen.. like the Flash isn't loading or something, although I don't have problems with other Flash-based sites.j

Is it just me?
