You don't even need to do that. You can do the "deliver the car" thingy, and if you don't crash, you can get like $90k. :crazy:
 
I've been having problems trying to sleep, because I am so excited about this game coming through the post later, anyway I'm off to try to get some sleep again.

WOOOOOHOOOO!It's been pushed forward to the 28th over here in NZ!21days.And my 2 week holiday begins on the 22nd and after those holidays its only 2 and a half weeks to study leave! WOOOOOOT
 
Picked this up today... wasted several hours of my life just driving around.. hehe.

I did the "quick 80 grand" thing with the vehicle delivery. That Enzo is FAST. Used the money to buy a Z06.

I've only done a few races so far, spent most of my time just driving around. I've barely left the southeast corner of the island except to make a quick jaunt up to the Pagani dealer on the east coast. Still lots of exploration to do.

Who else thinks this game is big enough to warrant it's own sub-forum? *raises hand*

Metallic red Alfa Romeo 3.2GT
Dark Fantasy TVR Sagaris :trouble: (you must build this car and check it out, absolutely amazing...black alloys, dark fantasy paint, red interior with black trim)

Has anyone else played with the Accelerometer? (called Chrono_______(something) in game)

OMG! I just got $120,000 for making a "perfect" delivery in the Enzo. :D

edit: Aaanndd...I bought a Laser Blue Z06 with the dark rims :D
 
Played this for about 4-5 hours last night and really enjoyed it. Started with the Saturn Sky then later bought a new Mustang. I currently have over $350,000 so im not sure if I want to buy another house or more cars.
I have a few questions.
1. Where is my free Lamborghini?
2. What is the deal with only being able to upload 1 pic per day from the photomode????? Where can I view that pic when I go on the test drive site?

When we pre-ordered we were both supposed to get a free Lamborghini. We pre-ordered a LONG time ago.

Me too - Im supposed to get a free McLaren F1, they said they'd e-mail me instructions to D/L it. Have they e-mailed you with the details - It might be in your junk e-mail folder
 
I just found the answer to my/our question on the atari forums. I still dont know why we can only put one pic from the photomode per day. Thats crappy but will hopefully be fixed later. I still cant find that pic that I took last night.

I don't know. I just blew $500,000 on a Murcielago and the 288 GTO. :D

BTW guys, go into the North area of the island and find the Trans-Am delivery. $99,990 for delivery, extra $35,000 for perfection. That thing sounds so mean!
 
I've just brought a Sagaris in-game with black rims, I'm well pleased with it, all I need now is the Tuscan S.
 
The timed hitchhiking ones are the most frustrating to me. I heard one of them is over 14 miles long! :scared:
The car deliveries are my favorite. If you get perfect then they add another $40,000 on top of the overall amount.
 
Going to pick my copy up tomorrow. Have to wait for my new Xbox Live Gold card to come through though. Guess I'll have to play it offline until then.


BTW

Play.com are doing a gold card with 1000 marketplace points for £34.99 if anyone is interested.
