TDU: DLC Revealed

I've got a question about the controller setup.

I'm running controler setup 3 I believe. The one where the triggers are for shifting and i'm using the A & X for Gas and Brake. Are these buttons not pressure sensitive on the 360?

That's the controller config i've used since Gran Turismo 1, but it really sucks not being able to modulate the gas and brake, just on/off controls.

I don't know, because I barely bought this system just for TDU.



Also, i'm having a bunch of trouble running into people online. Even people on my friends list. I'll go to Players on the map, click on the individual players, it will take me to their location, but no one is around at all.

I believe they aren't sensitive. They wern't whenever I tried to use them in other games.

I think it's because they're doing an activity where you can't see them, but I'm not 100% sure. I rarely see them, too.
 
Going on almost 2 weeks in a row playing this game every single night. Not many games can keep Heather and I hooked without hitting the eject button. :dopey: :dopey:
Now that I am almost finished with the single player I have to say my favorite car now is the
Chrysler ME Four 12. I beat almost all of the hitchikers with this car and I have at least 300 miles on it.
 
$408,165.... only $600,000 to go before some F1 action!

I'm sure there wll come a point where I'll get as far as I wish to go with regards to races and I'll just cruise around the island. If I ever get online, I'm going to make a car club just for sight-seeing, not racing. Like a real-world car meet.

How have you dressed your character? Here's mine, I prefer this get-up most of all....

I have to take back what I said, the game play is still bad but there is other factors that make the game worth playing, the cars aren't as custmizable as I would have liked but considering the amount, game size, online play, it was to be expected. My previous complants were mostly because it was a timed demo, how can you expect anyone to get into the game in 15 minutes, then they changed to a 1 hour demo but still timed.

I have to admit crusing at 225 mph on a motorcycle is very fun, it's quite close the the real experience(I haven't driven 225 mph on a bike but 185 and the feeling is quite close) as for the cars, they are ok,all I hear online is people talk about how real the cars sound,most of which have never driven let alone driven the cars in the game lol.

I love the amount of detail, especially the gauges, unlike some games such as Project Gotham Racing or Gran Turismo, in the front camera view the gauges are still individual and transparent which is quite refreshing.

There are some major gameplay flaws such as the horizon not loading causing you to fall into the water, this only seems to happen when I am in freeride, it has only happened twice so I can't really complain.

I love the twisting roads in the inner parts of the island, I never knew Oahu had roads like that, they seem fun to drift on, I have been to the island but never really explored, I just hung out in Wakiki and close surrounding areas, I am considering visiting longer the next time as well as driving on those roads if I get time.

*2 wins in drive in challenge - One of my wins was not recorded for some reason, in the process grrrr.

*3 wins in inter-club races

*Sharing Custom Challenges - Shared 1, all I need to do is share 2 more now.

Also good work on catching me up ANK, but it is like a TDU point’s war in here.

When that event ENDS you have to be the winner. I won 3 of these but when the last day came, someone beat them. I will not even try for this achievement any more. Way too hard. So for those of you that get the "2 wins in drive in challenge" I salute you and say GOOD LUCK! 👍
 
Boy, the official TDU forum is a dull place. Some fool claiming exotic supercars aren't as fast in a straight line as American cars like the Corvette??? As far as I'm aware, there isn't an American full series production car of the Corvette's level that does over 200mph is there? A lot of people seem to lack the distinction between fast (top speed) and quick (the ability to reach that top speed). Also the Enzo is made to seem better than it is and that Ferrari 'tricked' us all...
 
I bought another Ford GT and put a level 3 tune on it...I was driving around then all of a sudden floating in water...I cant move anywhere so I press A and a loading screen comes up and then im inside an Ellson store...i get out of the store and BAM im on my Ninja...but it's got the Ford GT's wheels. Here are some pics.

Well, this could be a good thing. Make sure it gets hyped up over the internet, and when Trade starts working, sell it for a premium. :sly:
 
The most realistic thing in this game is the traffic, just like in real life the cpu controlled cars make stupid mistakes and do things that I could kill for, two cars doing the same speed side by side in mutliple lanes making passing impossible,people driving slow in the passing lane in general,making left turns into traffic, all around annoying driver error. Lol.
 
Single digit days to go now(9). How much would someone want for the zonda roadster and the F1 LM whwn i get the game and some money?
 
WARNING I ALMOST LOST ANOTHER GAME SAVE!!!! FOUND THE PROBLEM.
I am very close to being finished. So if this happened it would have been devostating and I would loose over 60-70 hours of game play.

I was in the middle of a package delivery this time and one of my friends got online and his name popped up. Somehow as I was racing I accidentally hit the center button. Right after that it froze on me but my time in the game was still going. So I restart the 360 then when its about to start I get the dreaded message indicating I dont have a game save and I would have to "choose a device to save on" When I saw that my stomach dropped. This is the message I got the 2nd day I owned the game where I lost my first game save. I honestly thought I was done with this game and would have sold it. I love this game but there is no way I am going to do 60-70 hours all over again. As soon as I saw that I just instantly turned off the 360 with the button on the console and restarted again. Luckily everything was ok. However if I "picked a device" it would have started the game all over again and wiped out my save!

So take my advice if you ever get this message "pick a device" then instantly turn it off on the console itself and restart the 360.

I found out the news came through a bit late, but the race took 3 minutes to complete, then someone completed the challenge faster with 1 minute to go.
 
Whilst boredome kicked in at work this evening, I thought how funny it would have been, if you could have flung a token surfboard into your open-top car or strapped one to the roof as you drove around. Not very 'racy' but it would be ideal for when cruising. The SSR and a 'board would look sweet.

I also thought bicycles would have been a nice inclusion.

Maybe in TDU2?

Actually where could they set a sequel?

My vote goes to the whole of the main Japanese island (pardon my ignorance, I did once know it, but that was about 6-years ago in school)

Don't forget about backing up onto a memory card.
 
nnooooooooooo!!!! I'm going on hioliday for a week on the 28th, and TDU comes out on.....the 28th:( WHY!!!!
 
YYYYEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! EB games just left a message on my phone.....TDU is here!!But i can't get it for another 4hrs:( damn school it's never done anything for me:( Oh well id rather 4 hours then 8 days:D
