The answer to that is easily "maybe". :)

Unfortunately, we know absolutely nothing about the PC version, but it seems likely that it will be similar to the Xbox360 in terms of downloads and such.

Yeah, I've seen the AI do some pretty stupid stuff. Sometimes I'll be buzzing around and witness an accident between two AI cars. You'll hear me say out loud "Wasn't me that time!!" or something similar. Which.. um.. maybe isn't a good thing since I live alone... talking to my Xbox? Hm. I actually threatened it today, when it looked like it was locking up in mid-save. "Don't even THINK about it, you son of a b**ch!" It did end up locking up, but at least it finished saving before it did.

The only TVR T440 is the TVR T440R, not counting the GT racers, does it really matter.

Edit: Just won the millionairs challenge in a standard Pagani Zonda C12S, won it by 5 mins, just goes to show control is more important than power. The almost twice as powerful Saleen S7TT I had failed race this twice.

Man my videos get everywhere, yeah I did that one as request for someone and I decided to show the AI and it just happened, good drivers after that though especially the wee 4x4 who pulls out and then back in.

I did that today, it pissed me off, the gold time is 1 hour, you win 1 million credits for getting gold, I got 1hr and 20 seconds :ouch:, I got caught off guard a few times, got caught by the police a few times and threw it away near the end stupidly. I'll try again, but I don'tknow how people are getting 44 mins, ok I do, I'm not tat consitent :lol:. 20 bleedin seconds, for second place you only win 250k, I say only loosely ofcourse.

i did that race today in an stage 2 enzo and git 51.46 i dint find it that hard:dunce:

I just thought since the S7 has set records in other races where bikes arn't allowed it was the best car to use, it wasn't, at least not for me.

I would imagine the S7 being the fastest, but since there's a boatload of traffic to weave through, the S7 can't keep stable enough to maintain speed.
 
Oh sure it's the faster car I have in a straight line (over 250mph), it's just crap over bumps and in corners or any situation that requires good control to come though, the car doesn't have enough control to be consistent imo. Though I do have all the drivers aids switched off, I could imagine someone finding it easier in the S7TT with them on. The Zonda on the other hand weaves through traffic and round corners like a dream.
 
Just got the game. All I got to say, is this game is HUGE. I'm just staying near Waikiki right now. So far I got a:

Forgot to rattle off the cars I've gotten so far. I started with the Saturn Sky, but traded up for a faster F-class car to race in. I have one of each class, except for D, since I haven't done any D-class races yet, and C, since I got two o' those.

G - Shelby Mustang GT500, custom gray metallic w/black stripes ("Eleanor" coloring)
F - Audi TT, silver
E - Nissan 350Z, that gold-bronze color, whatever it's called
D - None (soon to be Maserati GranSport)
C - Lotus Exige, black
C - Alfa Romeo concept thing, red (won it from the "Island Tour" race)
B - Corvette Z06, black
A - Ferrari Enzo, red

Upcoming purchases (besides another house or two).. The Maserati for D-class races, Ferrari F430, Lambo Murc, Merc 300SL, Zonda, and once the DLC starts, Ferrari 308, Ferrari F40, Lambo Countach.
 
I just spent about an hour trying to get in the top ten in a race leaderboard and found out I had to cheat to get there - you have to get lucky and cut corners and hope you'd stay on the bike and on line. Shame really. Honestly I'm more proud of the sub 1 mintue times I did cleanly than the much better time I posted using the cheap method.

Also, I just got champion level and it says I unlocked a speed circuit and I remember unlocking some other small island too when I got expert or pro - I'm assuming ford island is the one I unlocked at expert, so where is the speed circuit?

Abolutely loving this game, but I haven't got the commitment to keep doing the 170mph in traffic race to earn my first whole million. I'll have to do it bit by bit, because I wan't the F1. Can it be custom painted? If so I want it in lime green, like my Murcielago is.

Outstandig photo !! As for the F1, yeah you can paint the F1 and GTR, not sure about the LM, the only cars I've come across which can't be painted are the Ferrari's (so up their own arse) and the MC12 so far, not sure about any others thus far but I'm sure some of the classics can't be painted either.
 
Odd about the Ferrari's, must have wanted more money for it or something. They could be painted in Forza, but MS can chuck more money away than most.
 
It says a lot about the quality of a game when all you can find that is dissapointing is the fact there are no BMWs in the game. The M3 is my favourite car and it would have been great to buy them in Laguna Seca Blue/LSB leather and Phoenix Yellow/Kiwi leather for example. Such a shame, it'd make the game outstanding for me personally. The in-game Merc's and Audi's are pretty boring, especially the S4 which seemed so slow.
 
BMW isn't totally ruled out though, atari have said they are speaking to a big german marque about licencing and how they can add other cars and even dealers later with dlc. This was in response when asked about licencing.
 
I'm at 88% in the game with 40 out of 46 achievements unlocked, with a point’s total of 880 in this game.
 
The F1 LM can be repainted. I have both Papaya, and black to represent the 2 colors that have been shown, and rumoured for the cars.

I'll do the same with the F1 GT when it arrives.


Some of the classics might be repaintable. I repainted the Camaro to black with red stripes, then black with white stripes.

Oh god yes, the F40 and Countach will definately top my list with the Testarossa coming.
 
Just reading through the thread just found out that its doesnt have weather effects (I dont own the game) but I saw a video on gamespot ages ago showing a Aston Martin DB9 at the lights about to race a bike in stormy conditions and it was raining heavily..... you could hear the wipers swishing!

......so was weather dropped from the final release? too much bandwith to handle if online?... what happened to it, it looked so cool!
