Tough one ultrabeat, I can't really say a car tbh I would say the MV Augusta, I got almost 1800 miles on that baby and put another 250 on my Ducati 999R last night just for the hell of it. Crazy cars would be the Maserati MC12, the Pagani Zonda, the CLK55 AMG and the uhh ..... Lamborghini Murcielago, wow what a sound !!

Here's a new video that I am getting a lot of feedback on and am very very happy with how it turned out: http://videos.tdu-central.com/tdu_stangconcepts.wmv (please right-click > save as)

Enjoy !

My "most fun to drive car" is the TVR Sagaris! I love it, very good handling at higher speeds (and lower) - top speed of 209mph when fully tuned, i also completed/won the around the island tour with it against a Saleen S7, a Pagani Zonda, and a few others including a Caterham, when i was drafting behind the Zonda or S7 i got it to 231mph and it was bouncing off the 8000rpm limit, the noise off of it is also amazing!

IMO the the car that's the most fun to drive is the Ford GT. It's fast enough stock and even faster when tuned, and IMO it's the best sounding car in the game. One of my two has over 1,000 miles on it. :)

Well now that you are at champion level, look up the speed challenges, there is a couple that earn you $50-$75,000 for driving into heavy traffic at 170/180mph or similar, takes about 10-12 secs in a saleen s7!

Hmm, just noticed you said, "through racing" - i'm not sure of a racing event, i know of a bike race near the British garage where you buy the Mclaren F1 which has a decent pay (about $60,000 i think) for not too long a race.

Thanks, I meant anyway which is a challenge (as in race, time trial, speed race), should've specified that though. I'll have a look at what you said, and thanks to l4s, i'll check out that Alfa race too. It took me until yesterday to realise your rank was related to GS, even though everytime I checked it I saw the little slider with GS moving to the right. I'm pretty smart.

12 hours ... wtf...well so I know that I have to wait for the Shelby probably for a long time. Of course I reserved it.

I´m always tended to spend the million $ on other stuff but then...maybe the Sehlby will turn up..

still a cool game :sly:

ive spent the mill so many times it's not funny but it only takes a few mins to win back so...

Thats nothing. My girlfriend reserved one of the cars and I am not kidding it didnt show up for about 5-6 days of game play. She got it about an hour before we left to sell the game. By that time she already beat everything and didnt need the car. It was the Lamborghini Miura P400SV. I waited about 3 days for this car.
Also keep in mind you can only reserve one car in the game at a time.

Wow that's weird. I've never seen the Muira out of stock. The one car that never shows up for me is the Shelby Daytona Coupe.

Did you reserve one, because if you have, then if you take too long after it comes in stock, then your reserve will be unset because of it selling out really quick.

finally got the daytona while uncovering new roads in the murcialago last night... You can't get rid of the number(32) of the side!!!!:(

ye but not the number...and it's hard to mach the colours of the body and the stripe together, imposible if you used metalic for the couler of the car.:(

I'm lost again. What is this about having to wait for inventory? Or about cars selling out? You can't just walk into a dealership, pay cash, and walk out with something? The game makes you wait a day?

Pardon my ignorance, I'm still waiting for the PC version....

It refers only to the classic cars. Especially the rare ones that you never even see in real life.

The only car I had to wait for was the Shelby GT500. And then it was only about an hour or so. I don't think it's measured so much in actual time as it is by what you're doing while you're waiting. If you just drive around for days, nothing will happen, but if you do a bunch of races, the "time" probably passes faster.

You sold the game?

You sold the game?
Heather sold her game. I am keeping mine. One of the best race car games I have ever played. Once she beats a game she usually wont play it any more. She had over 80 hours into it I have around 100 hours.
I still want to get all the houses and cars in the game. Like I said a few posts back I have 31 houses and around 80 cars.

I reckon she has made a bad mistake in selling the game.

Why? She played for over 80 hours and loved the game. But once your finished with everything what is there really to do besides cruise with friends? Nothing. We have so many games and multiple gaming systems. Makes no sense to just stick to one game when she is finished with it. If she ever wants to play again she can just use my copy. Not like the game is gone. TDU is still sitting about 2 feet from her. There was just no sense in having 2 copies any more.

Also the game will be worth more when sold now than if held onto for a few months.

Exactly. Thats also why I sold Saints row. That was a great game but now that I am done with it there is no sense in owning it any more. Like you said the sooner you trade them in the more you get. Better to get some money now instead of nothing later. :sly:
The ONLY thing collecting games will do is give you bragging rights. Thats it. I have well over 200 PS2 games. Big deal they are worthless now. I refuse to collect games any more unless I really really like it and see myself playing it later.

That's still kind of stupid. It's not going to stop me from buying the game, but it's just retarded.

I guess every game has something wrong with it.

What, do you just walk into your local car dealership down the road and purchase a car that's one of only ten that exist? Do this all the time, do you?

OMG, the Ferrari dealer has an Enzo!! Seeing as how they don't sell the Enzo in Ferrari dealerships, I guess that's one more stupid thing?

I just have to know this: I´m at 43% now, and there are no race/speed/time competitions showing on my map, allthough if I look at the info page, it says that I have only completed 80 out of a 120 of those. When do they show up? I´ve discovered 75% of all roads too.

How do you expect a really rare car to be in stock all the time?

Its like in real life. If you strolled into a classic car dealer, none of the cars will be in unlimited stock. They're trying to make the game more realistic, and I dont mind having to wait for a car to come into stock. Theres plenty of stuff to be doing while your waiting. So, in my view, the reserving classic car thing is not retarded at all. In fact, if you dont want to wait, theres bound to be one up for trade

Edit: To the person above, are you a champion yet?

No, and I guess that answeres it, doesn´t it? BVut how do I become a champion if there are no races? I do have a few hitch-hikers and top models to drive around. As well as 7 more courier missions and 8 car deliveries.

You have to go into your house, to see your achievements for the game, you have to have a certain amount of Gamer points from this game to become a champion, i think it is about 450 (i will check it out and let you know) - there is loads of things to get gamer score from - e.g. own 3 Ferrari's, Lambo's, Aston martins, etc.... or 10 items of ben sherman clothing or ecko clothing.

yes it is 450 gp for TDU to get champion level and access to the 180MPH in heavy traffic lol.

I've kinda stopped playing it because I've just picked up Amped 3 for peanuts, but it'll definitely be worth going back to later. It's the first truly interesting 360 game I've owned.
