In the next update trade will be fixed, they have disabled trade because the lost progress glitch happens when you sell the house you have a car for sale in.

Also of note, is don't backup to a Memory card, this will corrupt your original save for some reason, 3 people have been victim of this unfortunately and I would've been the 4th had I not read the thread.
 
The team has discussed Sony, but no confirmation.

In other news, another vehicle has been added to the Coming Soon list, the Cadillac Sixteen.
 
Because by the time the PS3 is out in Europe, this game will look out of date, being due sometime in the next millennium.

With the news that Sony want you to pay up to $800 to get all the cars and tracks in GT, I can't believe people still think Sony deserves your money. To pay for a 'game' that is nothing more than an engine and menu system would raise serious questions about your mental state.

Who knows, all I do know is Sony have serious issues with returns on their systems, I'm sure most people have had to buy a second ps2, I did and I woked at a future shop for 6 months they had returns of 10 to 1 on ps2 over xbox, I thought that was pretty bad. . .but anyway back onto topic,
I have put aside this game for a short time to play Import Tuner, I will probably head back to finish some more achievements later for this game.
 
I played this at my friends and was kinda dissapointed. The graphics arent all that, but what majorly did my head in was the handling of the vehicles. It was all sketchy n skitish. As soon as you get up to some higher speeds the car becomes extremly had to handle.

Also played PGR3 and thought gameplay wise that game was also a step backwards form pgr2. Whats going on with that? Am I the only one taht feels this way.

Anyway going by these two games I cant justify getting a xbox 360 yet, so im getting my GF to buy me one instead lol.
 
Guys, the only thing we know about the PS3 and TDU is that Eden Studios has been discussing it, and how they would do it.

Like I said, it's no confirmation, but it's been mentioned to the head honchos.
 
Do the tour of the island race then pick it up from the dealer for free.

Looking at Oahu through Google Earth is just incredible. Can't see the house at the top of Diamond Head though lol.

ive benn waiting for the Daytona for 8 days!Thats with about 4 and a half hours gameplay each day and it's still not there!Yes i have had it reserved the whole time...

You know what is really funny, the small portion of Wakiki where the ocean comes is almost exact, well the buildings are similar and the bridges that cross it are arched in real life but it is pretty much the same, when I first played it I couldn't believe how close it felt considering I had walked all over the area, even the local mall was there, although it wasn't really marked and it was slightly different.
 
One thing I've noticed, and I'm thinking it's probably through respect, is that they've missed out the Arizona memorial.
 
Yay, I'm on champion level now! I'm glad lots of new races just opened up, I was starting to wonder how I was gonna finish 120 races with such a low amount of dots on the screen. I'll ask again since it wasn't answered before, but what is the fastest way for me to gain cash through racing?
 
Well now that you are at champion level, look up the speed challenges, there is a couple that earn you $50-$75,000 for driving into heavy traffic at 170/180mph or similar, takes about 10-12 secs in a saleen s7!

Hmm, just noticed you said, "through racing" - i'm not sure of a racing event, i know of a bike race near the British garage where you buy the Mclaren F1 which has a decent pay (about $60,000 i think) for not too long a race.
 
The Alfa Romeo race has a $75k prize for 1st that only takes a few mins to win.
 
Heather and I finally got our 5,000 mile achivement almost at the exact same time too. :) Heather sold her copy on sunday after we got the miles. She had over 80 hours into the game and I have over 100 hours. So you wont see her riding with us any more. :guilty: Once she is done with a game she usually doens't keep playing.
There really isnt much to do anyway after you beat the single player. I am going to buy ever house and every car. Its my long term goal to help extend the life of this game. Currently I have over 31 houses and around 80 cars. Still a long way to go.
