I have been way to busy playing other games.(click xbox tag in my sig to see) I just throw TDU in once in a while now to get the houses and take an occasional cruise with friends.
How can you leave TDU all alone on your shelf most of the time, but maybe a new car pack will change your mind, anyway it looks like the new car pack will not be out today. :(

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. At the moment I'm just having a break from the game to play the other games I have. Dead Rising is just too addicting. Pretty soon now I should get back into it, though - probably when the new pack is released. :)

I won't be able to get it anyway - My router's just blown up. :(

And Deap, a word of advice.....

Don't call a moderator a n00b. It's not wise, and it's certainly not clever.

You can still download to your 360 without a router. Just hook it up directly to the modem.

just sold TDU for $85 so i can buy a G25...Still $15 bucks short of the $590 i need, ohwell better than the $670 the shops are asking lol

About the new pack coming out for TDU, does anyone know if it's going to have
RUF cars in it because I was looking in the back of the book and they have RUF
in there but it's not in the game.

Lucky for you, there is info. 3 of 6 cars released in the new pack.

So I'm guessing that means they're finally out? I've been waiting for so long :D

Question- Can you use XBOX Live with a wireless adaptor?

Awesome. I'm getting a new laptop and wireless modem adaptor.

I hope the PS3 will use that, and I'll kick ass in GT5. Maybe.
But if I eventually get an XBOX 360, I'd use that too.

The only game I'd want for the XBOX360 is TDU, and it's silly to buy one just for that. I read in a PS Magazine that TDU for PS2 is in the works, but oddly not for PS3.

What are Microsoft points? Is that a new way for them to take your money?
Yes. You have to purchace them to buy content with a set amount of points on them. Just a shame you cannot buy the exact amount of points you want to spend...

I don't own xbox360 or the TDU so I have one question. Can you accelerate/brake using the right d-pad? or are these functions only possible to do with x/R buttons??

No, the right stick is for camera only.

I'm not sure what you mean by x/R buttons, though. Gas/brake is done either by the triggers or by the face buttons. The buttons suck, though, since they're digital. On or off, no analog.

Not sure how it's going to work on the PS2. Most likely not, though.

I've started playing again. I've got the DB4 on reserve and I've added two more tasteful Murci's (yellow with bright yellow interior. Had to be custom painted from one of the official blue paint finishes, because the other yellow leather isn't as bright. Also red with red interior) and a yellow Enzo. Best handling car I've found so far is surprisingly the Nismo S-Tune, bumped to R-Tune Power level. Drifts easily and actually has some composure on the bumps, whereas the faster cars get a bit twitchy.

Got 80% of the roads done. Boy those interstate sections near Stadium are boring.

The DB4 has one h*ll of an engine noise. My oh my, it's wonderful. The stupid CLK DTM on the other hand, it's horrible to drive and can't even be custom painted. It's getting sold.

Switched to Manual gears last night. I was in the Audi A6 and it felt apt, to just cruise and drop a couple gears to overtake. I'm sticking to auto for races though; you can't seem to judge the revs if you're looking at the middle of the screen to see where you are going, you can't see the speedo in the corner.

Started playing TDU again today after a long break (busy with school :nervous: ). Great game. Took the Pontiac Firebird for a test drive and turned up the volume on my surround system. My oh my what a nice deep sound. 👍

This game is just aching for a nice steering wheel though. Too bad the Logitech DFP and Logitech G25 don't work with 360. :guilty:
