Help me out, i've unlocked all the roads I can find and i'm only at 3010 miles unlocked.

Seeing as how there's only around 1000 miles of road on the island, that statement makes absolutely no sense.

Unless you're talking about the overall mileage achievement. In which case you still need to drive around for another two thousand miles. Yes, that means driving again on roads you've already visited. The "find all roads" and "total miles traveled" achievements are completely separate from one another.

Damn, makes so much sense now. Here I am driving around, searching the map likea madman, looking for more roads to uncover.

Thanks for clearing that up for me!

You have to drive on the Kelekole pas

What a road! I have a vid coming up :sly:
Look forward to seeing it, btw nice cruise the other night, we must've done close to 100 miles. What's up with your mic though ?

BTW a DVD Recorder is a good way to capture video now also, the quality is high, it'll play direct through your PC and it's easy to edit.

How do you have a video coming up, I thought you did not have a capture card.

Just use a digi cam. They work fine.

Ya, the cruise was really fun. Where'd u get the zonda roadster?

And I tried to copy your lime colour on my murcielago, but, as you could see, I sort of messed it up :ouch:

And my mic aint broken, I just wasnt talking :nervous:

Oh, and my vid wont be edited. Cant edit at all :ouch:

I won the Roadster in a competition and have an LM heading my way also I think, or it will be the Spyker Spider. Loving the Roadster though, such a sound and it handles and powerslides well.

You have XP? Then you have Windows Movie Maker, use that. :)

OMG, how did I miss that :ouch:

Thanks a bunch diab ;)

Edit: can you change the video format?
Hopefully your digicam captured in AVI format, WMM will import it and then you can edit as you like. Once you're ready Export the movie and WMM will save it as a WMV file, then just upload it and you're done.

One tip though. Save often as WMM is prone to freezing and crashing.

Thats the vid. Not great, but..... ah, who cares, its a first

Comments are appriciated
Good quality for a digicam, would've liked to have seen more of the screen than the TV border and your wall. lol Nice driving in that video though, some very very close calls especially at 50secs where you just miss the traffic and the car, pole then rock miss was very lucky indeed. I'll need to find that road and film you on it, get some passing angles and the like, looks like a lot of fun.

Smiley Faces is a cool song also. +1 for driving in the incar view also.

I had to put the camera on a chair, get a few phone books and a stand to get that angle. I put the chair at an angle too (was hardly gonna drive well with a chair in my face)

And I always drive in-car, never any other view.

Thanks diab.

Do you want me to show you where the kelekole pass is?

Hey GJ I get an LM today as part of that competition I was telling you about ! So that's me got the Gallardo from Play and a Zonda Roadster and a F1 LM from Atari.

BTW I have now bookmarked that Pass and that was great fun in the Zonda's, can get some crazy angle with those things and the sound and fun you have trying to control them with no driving aids is a laugh and a half.

Grrr, I want one, grrrr, your so lucky

And that was really fun yesterday. Its SOOOO much fun in the zonda.

And why has my sig gotten bigger all of a sudden? I didnt do anything to it

Diab arn't you going to stop winning any other cars, because other people deserve to win the cars from now on.

Yes its around $4.38 for those cars. Here is a microsoft points break down I made. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83850&highlight=microsoft+points+break+down
Sounded like a lot of fun. I need to join you guys some time. I might also consider buying the new cars.

Is there anymore cars to win?
Well the only cars that are exclusive, which can be won are:

Zonda Roadster - I would pay real world money to get one of these codes at around £1.50 - £2.00 max.

Spyker C8 Spyder - I already have this one.

McLaren F1 LM - I alreay have this one.

Lamborghini Gallardo - Not that special as an exclusive download, because the Gallardo SE is better.

Yes I will moany git, I only wanted the Roadster and the LM anyway, so please shut the hell up you old woman, go take more PGR3 pics and jerk off to the feedback you squeeze people for. You just constantly bitch and moan about anything. And you wonder why I ******* despise you.

What you gonna moan and bitch about next ?

Is there anymore cars to win?
Yeah this week they are giving the Zonda Roadster away again.

The Gallardo Coupe is the car a lot of people want because of the Spyder wheels, the default ones on the SE are kinda boring and you can't have an evil black Gallardo SE with the Spyder wheels. I had another code but gave it to a mate on another forum.

My Gallardo dosent hit trees, it annialates(sp?) them :sly:

Probably not getting the pack, no points. Spent them on a COD2 map pack :ouch::banghead::dunce:

Sorry for the double post, but heres a small walkthrough Ive made :)

My Hitchiker Mission Guide:

This is just a small run through of what I do in the hitchiker missions. You can ignore it if you want, mainly because of the fact I havent completed them all yet, but this might be a bit helpful :)

Driving Gauge:
This is the bar that goes down at the side of the screen after a crash. This is a lowdown on how the points work

20 points are lost for every car you hit.

Points are lost for going on the grass, 1 point per wheel on the grass and per second your on the grass, eg. 3 wheels on the grass for 5 secs = 15 points lost

Time:
Dont worry about the time. If your going a an average pace of around 100mp/h, you should be fine

The Mission itself:
The missions are fairly hard. You have to go pretty quick, also considering the driving gauge. Its sort of a combination of the Courier and Vehicle Transport missions. Heres what I do

When Im coming up to a hill, I usually slow down, mainly because of the fact I dont know if theres a car coming from the other side. Stay in the right lane, and stay at a slow pace. Dont overtake. Going to quick or overtaking could risk hitting a car. When you pass the hill, you can start overtaking again.

Coming up to blind corners, I slow down. Its the same reason as above and pretty much the same method

On roads that have a shadow, always be on alert. The shadow can make the pedestrian cars blend in with the road. Look out for the rear and front lights of the pedestrian cars.

When your on a normal road, keep at a high enough pace. Look for rear lights of cars on the right side and, when your overtaking, look for the front lights.

Use the shoulders cautiously, you can easily slip off the road.

If I have missed out on something, or something isnt true, please let me know

Regards

GJB
