TDU: DLC Revealed

Not long till TDU, but I hope they bring the 2nd demo out this month or next month Live?
 
Will this game have every road on the island of Oahu?
And can I go off road? Like get on the cart path of one of the many fine courses?
 
Well, roads that led to dead ends were taken as quite a few. But a majority of them and the major/popular roads have been included.

Yeah, you will be able to drive offroad. Actually, you can drive anywhere you want.
 
What will be your main 8 cars or bikes to own in game guys?

Is it still available for DL?
 
There is no clutch. I'm not sure how you;d try to use it even if there was. With the controller you would have to use an analog stick somehow, and there aren't any X360 wheels with a clutch.

Apparently, it will somehow with the PC version.

MagicFR, the person responsible for the controls, says that the new Logitech wheel have all its components in the game, ie, the shifter and the clutch.

I play GT Legends with the clutch on with my logitech controller. Its great. You start normally without chirping the tires or bogging down. Pulling the left analog towards me, engages the clutch. I release it slowly and get the car moving normally. Sometimes rev the car up, and slip or burn the clutch :)

For me it makes the game way more fun and challenging.
 
I really hope that they make a PS3 version later too then if the G25 is going to work 100%. Its a shame that the 360 can't use the wheels.

If it isn't coming to PS3 with all of the G25 features I may end up having to spend a bunch on a PC. Its plenty of fun driving around just with the controller. Driving with 900 degrees, clutch, and stick will be an absolute blast!

Nobody who went to the Atari building said they could find it, so it's for now, shown as not being in the game.

DLC later is a possibility.
 
Well I was finally able to play the TDU demo last night. I only played for about 20 minutes. Spent more time driving around offroad than I did actually on the streets. I wasnt sure where the Lamborghini dealer was so I never found it. _aj posted a video somewhere that showed the Lambo dealership. I will watch that to help me find if faster. I spent the rest of my time ramming cars and cops. :sly:
I didnt see any way to play online in the demo.

You know them points you get, for example when the demo first starts she tells you to go to a Time Trial section? There's one somewhere where you race against people online. I can't remember where it is, but I don't recommend it because it's ever so buggy...

You know your GPS map in full screen, first go into that. Next scroll to key locations, and then it should be in there I think?

I found the Lambo dealer last night. However, I could not figure out how to find it using the GPS. I just watched _aj's video then saw where he went on the map and I drew out that section of the map. Then when I got home I matched it with my game and found it right away. Cant wait until the full version of this comes out. đź‘Ť
 
Camaro what you do is:

1. Press right to go into the map.
2. Press LB or RB to select 'Key Locations'.
3. Push up until it highlight's Lamborghini dealer.
4. Press A to go straight to it
or
5. Press Y until the red flashing icon appears to set as your GPS target.
6. Press B to exit map and drive via GPS.

If you keep heading North also you'll eventually come across it also. :)
 
Test Drive Unlimited GT Preview
Thats an exciting preview of the game. I like how you can pick a nice house and cheap car or the other way around. Hmm not sure what I would want first. This is going to make for some interresting game play and strategy. I cant wait. :D
I wonder if we can get a trailer that way we can afford a bunch of nice cars. :lol:
