To the TDU2 community,

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Our community has been amazing and helped us quickly identify a number of issues, which we have made significant progress in addressing in the upcoming patches.

We really appreciate your patience in this matter and we would like to announce that we will be making the first premium DLC for the game free for everybody as a way of saying thank you.

The Exploration Pack contains new wrecks to be discovered that unlock the Lancia Stratos version Rallye and 1969 Dodge Charger.

We now have fixes for all of the following issues that have already gone live on PC and will follow shortly once patches are approved by Microsoft and Sony, respectively.

Issues Fixed:

*Logging into the game has been improved
*Once into the game the online network experience is now much more stable in all areas
*Save games no longer corrupt
*Existing corrupted save games will be repaired in many cases
*Friends lists are now populated
*Invites now work correctly
*Clubs have been brought back online
*Exploits to gain money have been fixed
*Casino access has been improved
*Players will no longer lose money because of the Casino bug


The team spends a great deal of time looking at community feedback, so please keep posting your comments to the official TDU2 forums and we look forward to seeing you in Ibiza.

The TDU2 Development Team This is actually great news. Plus we get 2 more wrecks to find which are 2 great cars and finding those wrecks is one of my favorite part of the game. I am more than happy with this because keep in mind, they could have tried to charge for this. Free is always appreciated! :)
 
2 weeks and counting is still a bit much but I will be happy if it works.

Hopefully something else doesnt break with the new patch. Thats my fear. Fix a few things, yet break something new. Happens all the time with rushed patches. It would just be nice to see the casino working properly, especially for those that actually paid for it. I got it with my pre-order but I cant imagine the frustration of those that actually purchased an unplayable Casino.
 
Just hope the patch works, ive stopped playing this and with other games coming out may not get back into it either.

I quit playing TDU2 a few days ago and will not play it again until the community confirms that the patch has actually fixed the game. If it takes too long I might just trade it in while its still worth something. I am tired of buying games that need to be patched. Last 3 games I purchased had nothing but problems. Fallout NV, Fable 3, and now TDU2.

Money would have been the best. I lost millions when my first 60 hour save got corrupt. And lost over $100,000 from the casino when it disconnected me from the Roulette room. Oh well, something is better than nothing. But I really would have loved to have my money back. Giving every person at least a million for the 2 weeks of problems would have been awesome!

I'm curious as to what else is in that Pack. I would assume more missions and things. Maybe the new missions will pay out better and won't be for ungrateful people.
 
There certainly is a release now, fix later attitude. F1 2010 was also glitchy when released, as well aS the games already mentioned.

The Stratos was a car I wanted from the start, while the '69 Charger is my 2nd favourite muscle car (behind the Mustang which is already in the game) so I'm very happy.

I think the free dlc they are releasing is too make up for the bad Start too TDU2 :) They are sorting things out now though

My only gripe is that FPS on PC are terrible after latest patch.I bought new graphic card XFX 4890HD (replaced 9800 gtx) and it doesn't matter which settings I use, from very high to medium, FPS is barely about 40 on highways. I had those FPS with my old graphic card. I have Q8600@2,5 Ghz, 4 gb ram, win 7 x64

Same problem, FPS is really low, especially while turning. Sometimes I get good framerates, but most of the time the framerates are really low.

I just noticed that myself. Kind of pointless having an option there that just resets itself. :grumpy:

Guess I won't be trying this after all as it's intolerable with a framerate in the low 20's.
 
Unfortunatly it looks like we have to wait until Tuesday (just a guess) which will be exacly 3 weeks since the game came out with no patches. :(

And I am pretty sure they were already in the game. Just hidden. Because people were talking about the Lancia glitch with purple wheels that was corrupting files. So technically it looks like this free DLC (for the problems with the game) was already in the game.
 
No. they're wrecks. We're assuming that the the Stratos will be scattered throughout Ibiza and the Charger will be scattered throughout Hawaii.

Also, I'm pretty sure the glitched Lancia was the Lancia already in the game AKA: the Delta. Never assume.
 
Poker's a good time killer and there's a couple of slots that will make you money.

Also, you need 1,000,000cr. to buy the "dlc spyker" you'll only use 500,000 of those credits, but you still need a million of them.
