TDU2 patch update and free DLC info.

There will be a patch because I clicked on a link and it said that we would get a lancia stratos and a charger as a reward to say sorry

22 days and still no patch. I was hoping this tuesday or wednesday but at this point its not looking good at all for this game. I havent played in over a week because I refuse to play again until it is patched.. :(

its nice to see that they are releasing the DLC as a thankyou gift though! even though they are taking forever to release the patch...!

I think what's going on is they ARE going to release the DLC and Patch in one little bundle. So, while the patch may have gone through, Atari might be waiting for the DLC pack to go through so they can release them at the same time.

That is my guess too but I was kinda hoping it would have happened this Tuesday or Wednesday. 22 days without a patch is painful and I am having TDU2 withdraws.

Will the patch make it possible to sell cars without having to try to buy a car you can't afford or having all garage spaces filled? Until this is fixed I'm not playing. Such a shame problems like this are overlooked upon release.

Boo hoo. No. Atari is focused on GETTING EVERYONE ONLINE first. I mean, it IS supposed to be an MMO and if the online part of it doesn't work...then it's just an open world racer. I think you can live with cars taking up space in your garage for a little bit longer. Selling certain cars will probably come AFTER they get the online aspect working properly. After all, not being able to sell certain cars and no way to make money quickly after the championships are the two biggest complaints.

What about the poor handling for wheel users. Any news on if their planning on fixing that as well.

After some adjusting of the settings I have no problem at all with the handling.

The VW Golf 6 being the only exception I've run into thus far. It should be an FF car but it doesn't behave like one at all.

I use a G27.

That's good news I was under the impression that it was no good.
People to lazy to adjust settings.

Exactly. There are MUCH worse problems with this game than worrying about garage space. Especially the corrupt save problem. Thats very bad and we cant find friends, plus the Casino is hit or miss, clubs are not working at all and the list goes on and on. Most of the game does not even work at all. Huge disappointment.

BTW still no patch. Its been 24 days.

There is a rumor out that the PS3 users have a patch for today. Not sure how credible that is but I have the 360 version.

Eden/Atari has disabled the Roulette tables to fix the exploit. Their twitter said it might be down for a couple days. So, in other words, they're gonna make the roulette a bit more random....and by a bit more, I mean, random 'cause it wasn't before.

The Roulette room should have been shut down 24 days ago due to the fact that if you were at a table and it disconnected you from the server, you lost ALL your money. That happened to me and several of my friends. They have been WAY to slow fixing the problems with this. I can assure you that I will never buy another Atari game on the day it comes out. I will wait at least a month or longer to make sure everything is patched. I lost all respect for Atari/Eden because of this game. This game sure as heck will not help their reputation at all.

No patch as of yet for PS3, I'm on right now and haven't received a message or anything of that nature.

Atari posted on Twitter that Sony and Microsoft were still testing the patch/DLC.

And it has been confirmed via the PC players that the Exploration Pack is bundled with the patch. You'll download the patch and suddenly, there will be two more wrecks to find.

Oh im sort of relieved clubs arent workung at all... sort of, because i thought it was just because my account has my actual under-18 age, meaning all sorts of stuff is restricted that you wouldnt expect...
Still annoyed they arent working though...

27 days and still no patch.

Another one of my friends got the corrupt file save over the weekend. He loaded his backup file from his flash drive, and it was also corrupt. I have said this many times...

DO NOT PLAY TDU2 UNTIL THIS GAME IS PATCHED!!!

Is anyone experiencing jurkyness when playing tdu 2. Its very bad when I first start up the game but then gradually gets better

Cant believe people are still holding out on hope of a patch. I paid £40 was excited by the game until everything mounted up. After 2 days of playing I took it back this week to get as much money on it as I could since it is still newish.

What a waste of money to develop this game if it is completly unplayable. Awful game over all. If your in this thread thinking about buying this, DONT. Save your money for something like Shift 2 or the like.

Oh dont get me wrong the game is brilliant when its working.

Nothing better than flying about in a noisy Camaro at 160+ driving into a sunset in Ibiza, but sadly the problems just annoyed me too much.

I wont be buying it again sadly, its left such a bad taste in my mouth. If they do somehow bring out a 3rd I'll be skipping it and saving myself the money. Such a big disappointment for myself :(

PC players have gotten the patch. I don't see why console players won't get the patch eventually. You have to remember that the PC version doesn't have to go through anyone for approval. Microsoft tends to take their time approving any thing that's NOT an X-box exclusive. And who knows about Sony. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a Sony release the update before MS does.

I don't have any problems other than that the game freezes when I try to change the hardwood floors & it's kind of tricky staying connected with your friends in "free drive".

Other than that I have no problems at all. I've got it on ps3.

It's just a matter of time. I really don't understand how Eden could have missed all those bugs though. Also it is not hollyday season. Delaying the game another two weeks or so wouldn't have been as bad as this mess.
And I am not even talking about the missing online features - corrupt game saves for like 30 % of players are an absolute no-go. That just must not happen in any game. Who did quality control ?

But I still love the game. But as it's been said : don't play the game now. Wait a few more days and enjoy it afterwards. Sure, the patch should recover game saves but you'll never know for sure it it works for everybody or at all.

One thing is for sure, if the patch doesnt fix the major issues, then I will take my loss and trade the game in. 27 days waiting for a patch is rediculous. I do not defend this game or Atari or Eden at all. I loved TDU1 but TDU2 is a disaster.
