80,000 clubs being made at once would slow any server down. Give it a day or two...maybe a week and it'll be fine.
^ Same. Not played this for weeks. Too little to actually do, too many problems.
I thought they sorted the issues with a patch?
Any news on a patch to fix the handling with wheels?
Right, so people who didnt pre order the game, have the chance to get it as a dlc?
Hey Everyone,
The era of a new Sticky post is upon us! I'll be placing all important updates here in this thread.
Multiplatform
Roulette Offline on Consoles - Roulette is currently disabled on 360 and PS3, due to an exploit. We have a fix that has been tested and approved by QA. The update is tentatively scheduled to go live with the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA). Until the build goes live, Roulette will remain disabled on these platforms.
Pre-Order Cars for Sale? - There was a known issue where the pre-order cars went up for sale on the European PSN store. This was unintentional and they have since been taken down. We would like to make the cars available soon though, and hope to have them available some time within the next month.
DLC Purchases are tied to a single account - On the Console platforms, DLC purchases such as the Casino are only available for the account that makes the purchase. A fix is coming which should make it possible for all accounts on a console to access the content. The update is tentatively scheduled to go live with the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA).
Friends List not always accurate - This is a known issue. The previous build had a potential fix for this issue, but unfortunately it did not resolve the problem as expected. The updated fix is scheduled to go live in the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA). Some users report that reducing the total friends to less than 83 has corrected the issue for them.
Tuning Not Affecting Cars - It's a known issue, but to make sure we have the complete list of cars affected by the issue, please take a look at this thread and make sure there are no cars that haven't been reported yet.
Can't Sell Reward Cars - We've received feedback from the community that players would like to be able to sell their reward cars (such as the Pink Mustang). The feedback is being actively listened to. If there are any updates on this mechanic, we will let you know right away.
Issues Related to Racing Wheels - Players have escalated various issues with Racing Wheel peripherals. We are actively collecting these reports, but at this time there are no official updates or announcements regarding upcoming changes to wheel support.
Sessions Cap Out at Less than 8 Players? - Some players have reported that their online session gets capped at a number less than 8 (example: you have 5 friends in your session, but cannot invite more). This is being looked into, but we have not been able to reproduce it internally.
Occasional Police Chase Game Crash- A potential fix has been confirmed by QA. The update is tentatively scheduled to go live with the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA).
Occasional Level 10 Casino Crash - A potential fix has been confirmed by QA. The update is tentatively scheduled to go live with the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA).
Intermittent Crash Issues on Console Platforms - Some players report a crashing issue on PS3 and 360. It seems to be rare, and unrelated to specific hardware, but our team is actively working to determine what is causing these crashes to occur.
Pre-order Cars Not Showing Up - We have a fix that has been tested and approved by QA. The goal is for the fix to go live in April.
PS3
Missing DLC/Pre-order Clothing - Our QA team is looking into this one. At this time we have yet to determine the root cause of the issue.
PC
Performance Issues - Some players report unexpected performance issues. We have collected DXDiags and reviewed the reports from players experiencing these issues, but have been unable to reproduce the issues on our end. We will continue to review player reports, but at this time there are no scheduled updates to framerate performance or compatibility on the PC platform.
Changing Your Password Locks Out Your Account - This has been fixed and tested by QA. It is scheduled to go live in the Exploration Pack build (no specific ETA).

👎Sounds like the majority of issues on this list should be fixed within a couple months.
I know for a fact there are not 80,000 clubs being made because there are not even that many people playing the game anymore. The online community for this game is indeed VERY small because of all the problems. Most people have given up and moved onto other games. According to Majornelson http://majornelson.com/page/2/ Its not even in the current top 20 most played games online. Games at the bottom of the list have about 2,000 and TDU2 is lower than that. Ouch.80,000 clubs being made at once would slow any server down. Give it a day or two...maybe a week and it'll be fine.
I love TDU 2 ,currently doing the hawaii cup. Cant wait till these packs then. You dont see gt5 giving out the pre order cars do you.
Top job Atari:tup:
I am still enjoying the game when it works but it has indeed been a disaster and as a result, not many people are playing anymore.
Me being one of the one that had enough. I liked the idea but Eden/Atari just took too long to get some of the basic parts of the game working properly.

The game still has a ton of server problems. At least on the 360 it does. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it is a pain. And as I stated above there are probably only about 2,000 players so finding matches is taking longer and longer each day. Its even starting to get harder and harder to find poker games in the Casino. It's worth picking up againg though. Online works like a dream and racing your friends through the mountain roads of O'ahu never gets boring.

Does the Roulette room work for the PS3? Can you actually play Roulette? This room was shut down on the 360 for 2 reasons. The first reason was because of a glitch that would take all your money if you got disconnected from the server. The 2nd reason was because of an exploit that would give you money. Plus its also been confirmed that the friends list in game is till not working properly which will result in some people never getting 100% completion in the game.On the PS3 it's fine, but maybe I'm lucky...

CAMAROBOY69So far it sounds like the PS3 users have ALL the same issues the 360 users have. Even if you havent seen all the issues, they are there.
So it's still not worth getting yet?
Any news on better wheel support?
Personally I say no its still not worth getting yet and thats coming from someone that loved TDU1. UNLESS you just want to just play the single player. The single player campaign works well but trying to do multiplayer, racing with friends, going to the casino, or club races are all hit or miss and unstable. With that said......So it's still not worth getting yet?

Tuning Not Affecting Cars - We have fixes for Top Speed and Acceleration in QA right now, but it may be a while before the fixes go live. The fixes affect the mechanics of all cars, so they are considered "high-risk changes" and will most likely go live separately from the Exploration Pack, to ensure that the launch of the new content goes as smoothly as possible.
