No, the singleplayer will keep you busy for a long time. The online part of the game was glitched for weeks after launch so most players didn't have online functions in the beginning. It'll take some time before you'll be able to earn enough money to buy cars that can compete in online multiplayer anway. So, have fun offline...
 
Okay thanks for the advice and not sure I bought the correct car in my career.I have two now but I'm having problem winning races and winning money.

I dont think he means it the way you think........ Not "gay pink" as in homosexual, but "gay" as in less favorable or negatively viewed and it just happens to be pink because its a girl's car. But for being a girl's car it is less favorable to me :).

What do same-sex relationships have to do with anything? That's not the original definition of the term, and yet again in history a word has gained a new meaning. People need to get over themselves.

In the context it was used, it's pretty obvious what he meant by it. 'Gay' is a word widely used to describe same-sex relationships and has been for a while now, whether you like it or not.

If you're telling me to get over myself, then go and whistle. If people want to use such words in a derogitory way, then so be it! As long as they keep it away from this forum where others (especially younger members) might get the wrong impression that such behaviour is acceptable in modern society.

I'm sorry to hear of your upset over the misuse of the term 'gay'. I'm glad you brought it up so we could talk through it together.

On topic: Seriously wanting the store to be back up so I can get the Stratos. Wonder how long it will be until the motorbikes are released?

Just shows how much a failure this game had been to be honest, the subforum has been deleted to a smaller side forum, it is kind of shame really, because its a very good idea it was just poorly executed. and most likely will end the TDU series if they do not improve it.

I guess we can't be sure until PSN is back up fully. PS3 users are still due the content pack, so maybe Eden want this out of the way before messing with other areas?

I have also heard that rumor that they will not be updating the 360 until the PS3 is back online. 👎

That kinda sucks, I mean I dont use my 360 at any more but it would nice to see what to expect much like what EA did with Shift2. Their DLC blows anyway only half as bad as FM3 where you have to use in game cash to buy the cars unlike Shift2.
 
BTW, Atari posted that the DLC packs are still coming to the consoles. Sounds like their trying to get some of the updates and features working smoothly, though.

Yep indeed, sounds to me they are at work patching the Casino glitch and other stuff too. I just want to be able to sell the prize cars. Other than that I'm enjoying the unique challenge it's giving.
 
The patch FINALLY came out yesterday as planned and even Roulette works now! It froze on me my 2nd try but ran really well after that. Played Roulette for at least an hour last night.
 
Has anyone tried selling the reward cars yet like the Pink Mustang? Cant wait to get rid of some of those cars. They should have at least let us paint over them.
