What up NEM fam!!!

Just dropping a note from my limited internet access. I'm finally in Seattle and getting unpacked. The drive took two days but I'm here now and that's what matters!

I'm not sure when I will get back online yet. Still working on getting a solid internet connection. I'll try to check back in later with an update!

fcpmarcus · Sep 15, 2012

That's good to know you got there safely! Take your time and get acquainted with everything there, everything will be fine and normal over here lol. At least you are away from the hellish heat! A heat wave just hit today again, and I can't imagine how much hotter Vegas would be.

Good to hear that you made it to your new home safely, hopefully you get settled in nice and smoothly bro. Best of luck to the rest of your adventure!

I just got back from the music festival a few hours ago, i had an amazing time there. Awesome people, great music, amazing food and a great atmosphere made that festival one to remember. So now it is monday birthday time Booh yeah grandma officially 21!!! I have a lot of things to do today so i wont be on to much, i am getting on now to drift though! :dopey:

twitcher · Sep 17, 2012

Happy bday CJ!!! 21 was a fun year

. Hope you have a great day, and glad to hear the festival rocked!

On another note, as I'm sure you guys have noticed, I've hardly been on the last month or so. Been super busy with work, and life in general...but the main thing taking up all my time has been packing to get ready to move at the end of this month. Nothin as serious as Gam's move, but I'm moving to a new place on the other side of town. I'm probably going to be MIA over the next week or so, as I'm actually starting to move stuff over. I'll probably be packing up my ps3 and tv over the next couple of days. But hopefully by the end of the month I'll be all settled in and things can go back to normal.

As an added bonus, I just bought a new 55' tv yesterday...can't wait to hook the ps3 up to that bad boy in a week

Hope everyone is well...I miss you guys

Take care boys, catch ya on the flip side!

Hi guys

I just got a reply to a message I sent you Via the NEMESiS Web portal ! The reply was in regards to RiFTW0RkS featuring your team in the first Ed of our Drift Webzine.

Just a quick thanks from me to say how pleased and excited I am to be given the opportunity to work with you guys in producing some quality material and media for your team to be featured in our very first Ed.

If you have any specific pictures that you would like me to include in the artwork please point me in the right direction.. I see there is a wealth of stuff so Im spoilt for choice atm tbh ;-)

I will be using information mainly form your team post and sending a question answer type thing in the next week or so for you to have a look over and produce some answers.

There is also scope to work with video so if you have any specific favourites I can embed Streamed Video into the pages. I am kean to do this but would need original avi or mpeg to work with.. If you wish to take the video idea futher I would be more than happy to run through some ideas you may have. Even if it means meeting up and capturing some data? Although you already have some A55 Kick Videos in your collection. Maybe a video montage taking the best clips from your Video Library ?

Thanks again for this opportunity and I look forward to working with you in producing some eye catching media..

All the best, I will keep in touch on developments ;-)

I am not sure how you are creating this "webzine" but you are free to use our videos and photos provided you give credit back to our website.

I'm not sure how much we will be able to help with a custom video for you. Check out how JrDarkness used our video in his recent video for examples.

We look forward to seeing the finished product and we will do what we can to help.

Congratulations to Cj / marc / kodi for the NEMESIS sweep in round 3 FD!

Happy birthday CJ! I love how you've been driving! So much improvement is showing. Its mind blowing to know you've only been on the wheel for 7mo & charging hard. Not a bad night for you placing 3rd in FD & runner up in the SR comp

Congrats my bro. You deserve it!

Same applies to you too Dan.. You're merc'n on the wheel too.

Last but not least... Much respect to the champ of the night.. Toycressy for taking round 3 FD! A lot of good competition tonight but you came out on top. Congrats on the win.

Eric1512 · Sep 19, 2012

Congrats guys!

twitcher · Sep 19, 2012

Again boys, congrats to all three of you on your performance last night!!! And if anyone fron the team hasn't seen it yet, check out the video LV posted in the FD thread...hilarious stuff. Make sure you watch it with sound though lol. I think Gam might have to steal a sound bite or two from that vid for our next vid hahaha

DGambino1 · Sep 19, 2012

Big congrats to CJ, Marc, and Kodi for the podium sweep!

CJ, my man, we all knew you were a diamond in the rough. We are all glad you decided to join the NEM family. Everyone that has joined the team was a diamond in the rough at one time and now you guys are shining!

Marc was texting me the updates during the comp and all I could do was sit back and smile! I know the whole team is proud of each other.

I have to agree with Kodi on this one, I have put down countless hours on the track with you guys and it has really been an amazing adventure.

I have no idea what I would be doing right now if I didn't find night slide. When I first came to this forum I believe my second post was in the night slide thread, first in the new drifters thread.

I was so bored that day I was creeping through the forum as a guest and came across the thread and thought "wow this looks like fun". So I signed up for gtplanet and started coming to your events every time and that was that I guess. I was even learning from you guys when I wasn't on the team! Always trying to keep up with you guys was so frustrating back in the day… But now it's a breeze, and it has taught me so much just being on the track with the team, no words have to be said to learn. I still have a long way to go every time I get on the track it only gets better and more fluid.

So a HUGE thanks is in order to the NEM family for what you have done not only for me but the drifting community, I love this team!

New update for GT5 comes out sept 25th, man i am pumped for this clutch update!!!! 👍👍

https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-5-dlc-update-2-08-coming-september-25/

"Response of the clutch pedal when using the steering wheel controllers “G25 Racing Wheel”, “G27 Racing Wheel”, “T500RS” and “TH8RS” has been adjusted."

I hope they really did a good job on this it better be realistic or they are wasting there time.

"Adjusted the changes in control characteristic when altering vehicle height from standard height. (Vehicle height can be changed by adjusting ride height, either by installing a suspension kit or adjusting a full customizable suspension kit.)"

Not to sure about this though... :nervous:
