Only thing of remote interest is the addition of drift trials to online rooms like what they have in Forza. May have a go with it tomorrow

Bit hard to drift 1 handed, wheel is broken and cbf fixing it or getting another one and 1 car has no rego, 1 has no engine and 1 has a popped radiator and I have no money.

Giving a heads up, I'm working on a possible comp, that still utilizes the drift trial flags, so during the week, I will be trying out a few things. Have written up a few ideas, but wont post anything till I'm happy.

If I can do it right, it will eliminate bias judging in almost all categories!

I think the main reason the DP system doesn't work is because it's giving a scalar quantity to something more "artistic". While competition drifting involves gaining some form of score (points out of 100, ratio of 10 points between 2 drivers), the main judging criteria is based upon style and who looks the best.

The best way to describe it is to say that a painting isn't admired for the value of it's brush strokes, but for the emotion they collectively portray. Only time a calculated scoring system has worked decently in drifting is with drift shifters.
