So will this game allow us to create online clubs like the 360 version? Does anyone know if headsets would be compatible?
 
Is this game compatible with the logitech wheels?

When I played it on Xbox360 I loved it. But I always wanted to play with my logitech wheel...
 
Well it didn't turn up today but GAME have promised it for me for tommorrow! As soon as I get it I am going to be racing to get me a decent car to go online with as a flipping Audi TT will not keep up with a Koenigsegg or Saleen.
 
hmmm, im kind of having second thoughts, is this game worth it if your only going to play offline?

I think it is. I played it quite a bit on the 360 and most of that was spent offline and it was one of the best racing games I've played. The PS2 version lacks quite a bit of cars that were in the 360 version, (most notably, Ferrari and Maserati) but I still think it'll be great. I had a lot of fun just hopping in one of my cars and driving around and taking a few pics. Does anyone know if the PS2 version has photo mode like the 360 version?
 
you guys know, i think they released this game a week ago here in the country i live in!! today my mom brought home some broschures about home quipment, and funny thing is watch cought my eye was, that theyre selling Testdrive Unlimited aswell... since 1 week!!!
I'm off now checking the malls if i can find it somewhere!

I GOT IT, I GOT IT!!! :D

just picked it up right now. I will give it a few runs and see how it it. Feeback about the game will come later !:D
 
so guys, played the game for like half an hour now and to be honest, i'm dissapointed! :(

I didnt expect much from the graphics which are ok.
The game play is nice and easy but not much challenging.
Sound of engines (drove 2 cars so far-SLK 55 AMG&Ford Mustang GT) they sound both the same which is kinda annoying. No V8 Sound from both :(

Those are my first impressions.i'm gonna play later the evening much more and will let ya'll know if my impressions have changed :D

Oh dear! doesn't sound like a good start :indiff: but you probably have to play it abit more......

I thought the sounds were pretty damn realistic on the 360 version. Not sure if the sounds are changed for the PS2 version, however.

Haven't heard sounds from the 360 version yet.

Another thing i have to say is, the driving feeling is kinda boring! I dont know how to discribe it, but its kinda akward.

Oh ya, and btw, the Logitech G25 DOES NOT work!!!:crazy: :scared: :guilty: :yuck:
Maybe there is a way to set it up, but i checked the settings, and its just for Ds2 controller
 
Got it and it is amazing in my opinion! Right I will tell you more on how it is after I have got a Aston or Lambo! Off to burn rubber.

i could put one up but just with a video cam filming onto my tv :)

Haven't tried online yet and i actually cant because i got the fat PS2 with no adapter. I so wanna get one though.

I'm going to play now and make a small video!

I highly suggest you get a network adapter especially for this. It is so much fun if any of you guys are ever on it online then watch out for me my usename is: SPEEDSTER502 I will probably be in my Lotus Exige 240R at the moment. It is so much fun.
 
I hope this game is good... If not im gonna have to shell out $400 for a xbox360...
 
Can't wait to see some good gameplay footage. If possible, make a video with the cockpit view. I'm just wondering how good it looks in comparison to the 360 version. It's my favorite view and one of the best parts of the game, IMO.
