Well, nope :sly:

But it's the same in all Airbuses starting from the A320 series onwards. I personally prefer the yoke layout though.

And here's the polar opposite of the modern A380 cockpit

Because shooting someone from 100 kilometers is so much more fun.

:scared:
At least it's an easy target for planes to blow it to tiny bits.

You'd have a hard time blowing that up.

You'd have a hard time blowing that up.

Not really, it's such a big target that it would be easy to hit and damage.
Plus it would need a ton of AA guns to even have a chance.

Easy to hit, but doesn't exactly look brittle.

The fact that it was mobile also made it hard to locate. Enemy sorties wouldn't have a fixed location to go in and bomb.

But it ain't exactly incon:censored:spicuous, is it? [/Brick Top]

You have seen what bombs do to tanks and bunkers, right?

A 500lb bomb would blow that to bits. Alternatively hit the ammo store and blow half the countryside up.

Amazing engineering, but pretty useless. Everything about it is awkward.

I think that's the third time Gustav and the picture of the shell has been posted in here now.

"Oh, this big thing? Noooo, it's a prototype circus cannon. We hope to shoot a guy across the channel, nothing suspicious here..."

Gustav's shells could go even 20 or 30 meters deep into the ground before exploding.

Indeed.

It looks to be somewhat domesticated - muzzle, leash. And it looks as though it doesn't have it's claws out, which would indicate playful mode.

Domesticated hyena is an oxymoron. Muzzle, leash, chained to the ground, I still wouldn't be going near it.

First question: Why?
Second question: where do you get a tie capable of doing that?

Either that's one long tie or the end is just out of shot.
