I prefer to believe that he's just laying there with the bike on him as a joke.

Probably not...

Which is why I love flying...and that window seat.

Always wanted to be able to fly more, but I traveled by car so much I get use to the fun of the adventure. It's a trade off, but there's some fun stuff to see from down here on the ground, too. Just rarely as....awe inspiring.

Carrying on the air theme.

BLUUUUUUUUE IMPULSE! The Japanese aerobatics team. They. Are. Amazing.

One of my friends lives right next to where that was. He was freaking out, I had to tell him water spouts aren't really that dangerous, especially when they make landfall.

They are dangerous to boats, swimmers, etc. Depending on the type, it can be dangerous when it makes landfall. Tornadic waterspouts can become a tornado if they come ashore, as they essentially are tornadoes over water.

The one from the picture is non-tornadic, as it is formed from a singular cloud and not a severe thunderstorm. They can still produce winds of up to 65mph and should not be approached.

They are tornadoes that form over water. While generally that is true if they make landfall they can be pretty devastating.
