This is where I'll be holidaying this year - can you spot which two parts in particular I'm going to be?

I got to see the Southern Aurora's green waves dance across the night sky, when I was living in Tasmania 2005/06.

No idea at all that it was happening, and wouldn't have known if I didn't go outside.

Makes seeing a shooting star or a satellite seem like an everyday experience.

Caernarfon castle is great. Shame about Caernarfon itself. Like a lot of north west Wales the less touristy towns are really struggling.

I developed a passion for photography in the last years and also like to discover new places, often not that well-known, especially when it comes to architecture.
Hope some of you will enjoy those!

Kookaburras take me back to a holiday I spent in The Grampians, and hand feeding them as we had lunch on an outdoor decking.
Where I live now, about 1 hour from Phillip Island, gets Kookaburras in the evening.

Oh, might want to check the washing for signatures 😉
That’s the first thing I told my daughter. It was getting a big belly and let loose. Right after, my wife said nope it didn’t get anything.
I grabbed my daughter’s bubble flask and started blowing bubbles. It hung around for about five minutes. The cats were being still, but when one of them came to the door where I took the pic, it bolted.

Love kookaburras. I guess small in the grand scheme of things but they're the biggest kingfishers.

Edit: I often recall Steve Irwin supposedly breaking up a kookaburra fight.

Yeah, I this one was a pretty good size.

I feed the Mynar birds in my neighbourhood, the trees in my garden, but the real pleasure is the magpie robin that seems to be more intelligent than I am.

The pigeons are dumb as **** and will happily eat bird chow next to my cat. Maybe my cat just doesn’t have it in her anymore. At least I’ve got food in a survival situation.

The other array of bird is incredible and one of the reasons I haven’t curtained my front doors. The birds are beautiful and I enjoy feeding them.

From my Lazyboy this is what I’m watching:

That lucky nut tree brings all the boys to the yard.

Just recently there were a pair of mynar birds feeding their younglin outside the door. I thing they were eating my mouldy bagel from a few days ago.

Just in case you don't know, I highly recommend Flickr to those with a love for photography.
