Their squad must be bigger then the entire old 3rd division.
 
23 Players, Morinho has ditched Crespo and Veron, also I think a keeper, a few other players and Dessaily has left as well.
 
But it is 23 "big-name" players who want to play everyweek.

I wouldn't say players like Huth, Tiago, Geremi etc are big-name players. I think we aren't doing to badly in most positions with enough cover for Injury/Tiredness/match bans etc. I'm just worried about the Strikers and Duff/Robben mainly.
 
Geremi is awesome. Tiago is a silly Shakespearian name. No wait. That was Iago.
 
The only problem I can see with Chelsea is for Mourinho to try and keep all those rattles in the Stamford Bridge pram.

Meh, the rattles mainly belionged to Hernan Crespo and Juan Seb (Give me more money) Veron, oh and Hasselbaink. Most of the players that have been bought in are fairly young and eager, or are on good terms with Mourinho.

Gronkjaer was always a bit erratic, but he was awesome at times. I think he's wasted at Birmingham though.

Don't underestimate Birmingham, they are a very good side and I tip them for a high place this season.

This is funny: Barcelona have just made an offer to loan (one season) Cisse from Liverpool who have only just spent the best part of 15 million quid on him! Needless to say Liverpool have flatly rejected the offer! What is the world coming to?

EDIT: Bolton have just signed Fernando Hierro on a one year contract!
 
I've heard roumours that Rui Costa has signed a two year deal with Man U. Hmmmm.

He's 32 and to be honest he didn't do too badly in euro 2004, oh and he plays for AC Milan not Porto.

You forget that the Majority of the big man u players are not there, it's mainly their youth players. I think Keane was playing as a sweeper in defence at the bayern munich match, it was just him and Djemba Djemba the rest was just the youth players.

So your saying that Man U should be able to win with just 2 of the usual squad players? Note Celtic and Bayern were using their full squad It would be like Arsenal playing with just Viera (Playing as a sweeper) and Edu in Midfield.

But I bet they had more than two first team regulars. Oh and Sturm Graz are obviously on the same level as Celtic and Bayern. :dunce:
