The amount of complaining in these forums have become ridiculous. The whining and moaning about your favorite car, etc not being in the game is terrible.

For example: There was an article on N4G about new info on GT5 and comments addressed this issue about GTP users complaining. And they were really shocked at how ridiculous the whining has become on GTP. When the people from N4G are even shocked by the amount of bickering going on in this forum, you know that there is a problem. And you know why, because what has been going on isnt a critique, but complaining as if PD shouldve included what you wanted into this game. They gave this game so much content and detail, that people dont realize that they already have the best sim racer around BY FAR, and that they are doing things that would be done for a NEXT GEN game!!!!!! And what it really comes down to is this...

PD didnt tell you that the all cars would have interior. You did.
PD didnt tell you that all standards will be just like premiums. You did.
PD didnt say that they were including every track from past GTs. You did.
PD didnt say that all sport cars would be premiums. You did.
PD didnt tell you that all of your favorite cars would be in the game. You did.
PD didnt claim that the Buggati Veyron just had to be premium. You did.
PD didnt say that every single region would get the same rate of cars You did.
PD never promised all of the supercars would be premium. You did.

And you know what? Many of the complainers will think that I am saying that they are wrong for wanting something else to be in the game. I AM NOT SAYING THAT AT ALL. The point is that people are upset with PD, and attacking them out of the blue when something that wasnt even promised to them wasnt in the game. That is what is ridiculous about all of this. And hopefully when GT5 comes out, all of the complainers will realized that what they were complaining about wasnt even that big of a deal.
 
This thread will be locked. Your wasting your time. They will always be picking silly things to complain about no matter how good the game is.
 
Yes of course there is, he is just being the person the OP is aiming this thread at.
 
I cant recall anybody telling you not to talk about GT5. Theres talking about GT5 then there is Whining , Complaining and demanding.

This isnt the same thing. The complaining that people have given to PD is ridiculous.

They told us the cars would have fully modeled interiors. They never made it known until a couple months back that it would only imply certain cars.

Same as above.

The rest of that is stuff I have never read, but it's not worth commenting on. These 2 points above are. We were lead to believe these things until they said, "No, there's 2 levels of cars & only premiums have the cockpit".

It is peoples' fault however, for not listening & arguing against their own website.

It's just mis-communication on PD's part for not letting people know when they first made the statement. Otherwise, disappointment will obviously ensue.

This topic is useless. you need to learn the concept of opinions, people are going to have them. Im pretty sure you can handle just ignoring them instead of making a topic to complain about complainers. This isnt helping and isnt going to get everyone to just start saying they love everything about this game, so live with it.
 
No the complaining has not to stop. The game HAS some obvious flaws, and they will increase in number, when we finally play the game.

I never understood the complaining about a game none of us have played.
 
While I partly agree with the context of the OP's post, a lot of the complaining stems from a lack of involvement with PD. For 5 years, they basically kept things very vague. I mean they kept saying 1000 cars, but we didn't know the twist until about 6 months before release. People thought they meant 1000 cars with equal detail, and the last thing they expected was last gen rehashes.

There are other reasons, people got frustrated with the rediculous dev cycle, and the delays. Also, certain people feel the content is kind of sub par for a game of this magnitude. Also, as a closing comment, this is a public forum, and as long as people keep their posts within the rules, they have every right to show their displeasure.

Also, I'm on a lot of gaming forums, and these types of threads and just over all forum attitudes are quite expected and natural. Every gaming forum usually has 3 sides, you got the hardcore fans who nit pick at everything because for nostalgic reasons, they feel this new iteration will not live up to the previous titles, then you got the hardcore fans who will defend the game at all costs, and then you got the trolls. Of course there is a 4th more rationale group, but they're not interesting. :P
 
Dude... :lol: Shouldn't this be posted in Epic rage & crying? If you have some kinda new, positive info or even just an inspiring thread-worthy spin then fine, but this is a whine about a whine!

The problem people can't seem to grasp is that complaining about them at this stage will not change them at all. Either accept the 'shortcomings', or don't play the damn game. As for me, I will be enjoying every second of the game!
 
I agree. Especially if the same guys are doing over and over again. I think if 10+ member report a person who they think are constantly moaning and annoying others then a moderator will and should do something about it :grumpy:

Thank you gaming25. Get a life complainers, get the game on the 24th and then complain to yourself when you are dissapointed. ITS A GAME PEOPLE. Grow up.
 
You lack a good argument to justify this thread. People can have their opinions no matter how negative or positive they may be. Expectations doesn't have to be based solely on whatever PD/Sony said.

I have seen people outside of gtplanet which are disappointed with the massive presence of standard cars from GT4. Just because PD always said that those cars will be included it doesn't mean that people aren't allowed to think it's a bad decision to include them. They have a valid point when they say that the absence of their favourite (premium) car is disappointing as PD has spent more or less five years making 800 standard cars look decent. Some commonly praised cars are obviously missing so should people just accept that because PD never promised them otherwise? From a logic point of view, I don't think so.

At least I am happy with the premium car list and PD actually never promised me that my favourite cars would be included. So I guess I don't have the right to be happy?
