I really hope we will get back to US. This huge map was part of the charm, I would live to see Motorfest improvements in graphics and driving model for The Crew 2

Rumor: Popular Ubisoft Series Is Getting Its 4th Game

A well-known industry insider reports that a popular Ubisoft franchise is set to receive its fourth game, which will mark a return to its roots.

Apparently more like crew 2 sequel, exploration based, probably going to release in next console generation.

There's been no official announcement yet, so nothing is known. The journalist who tweeted that is usually pretty reliable for Ubisoft stuff so it's a good indication that another game is coming, it may be confirmed this week at one of the numerous gaming events.

I will just be happy to get another game, wherever it's set. Personal preference would be somewhere new though, revisiting the same map with shinier graphics doesn't seem worth the effort to me. As for the format, the Motorfest theme has been successful so I'd be surprised if they abandoned that completely even with a return to a numbered sequel.

Yes, I always think it's a huge shame when development stops on older games, but the newer game isn't a straight improvement on the older game. So we never get FH4 with FH5 graphics or Crew 2 with Motorfest graphics. And there's some little QoL niggles in Crew 2 compared to Motorfest that I assume will never be fixed now.

I doubt they'll make a new game in the US again, as I imagine they'd just assume that people wouldn't want to pay full price for a new game that is a kind of "Crew 2 remastered". I just hope that whatever location they choose has more variety than FH5 and Motorfest, both of which suffer from a lack of variety in the environments.

Actually I thought about it, I wouldn't mind Cop Chases if they were made like in The Crew 2 and Motorfest where the players are the good guys.

3 new cars in June:
Tomorrow the Mini Works GP will drop (as a Y2P car). Coming in the shop next week for non pass owners.
On 18th the Aezus GT.... a race version of the hypercar?
On 25th the Summit start that will have the Mazda RX7 Red Fury edition as a prize.

Some of the logos I created are actually more precisely made than they are supposed to be, but they look rough when reduced in size...

I spent several days searching for materials for some of the fantasy logos that weren't available in the livery editor, and creating around 2000 layers of all TC series fantasy decals.

Well, it may be self-satisfying, but the hard work paid off, right?

I called it wrong last month but now we will finally be able to complete challenges that require to register a specific vehicle to Custom Show:
Japan 2 - register a Nissan
Donk vs Low - register a Buick, register a Chevrolet
Red Bull Speed Clash - register a Racing vehicle

Yes, those are all available classes for tomorrow CS.

Wow, it's pretty tight around the platinum cutoff for this week's summit. I just ran up my alt account that had the lowest score to check it was still in platinum, and it was just outside the top 10k. Did a few events again, and it's a bit crazy, like 50k points moves you up 5k positions, something like that.

It was a follow a YouTube video Summit. I thought, ok 1,3 mil will be enough than got 1,45 following Akor's video. Platinum was 1,37 I think. Which is pretty high.
It's a good truck, but compared to that RX-7 Red Fury... I can't wait to try it.

And I'm super happy I finally registered that Buick and completed the Donk vs Low challenges. First time this year that we can register a Buick.
Still wasn't sure about it and ended registering another Mad livery.

Only American vehicles are eligible, so the Nissan cannot be entered this week. I've done the others though - thanks for the tip 👍

Appreciate having racing cars, shame about the events for them. Anyone else finding the filling nitro with button presses at the start quite inconsistent? I'm finding quite low odds of filling all 3 nitro slots, maybe the timing window is tiny. I got wise by the third donk replay event (dozen attempts never got all 3) and subsequently quit to avoid frustration. Probably me being captain sausage fingers!

Put it on the easiest difficulty and press the right trigger as soon as you see anything moving on the screen. The easiest difficulty gives you the most time. I'm having problems with a good start instead. It seems like I have a reaction of a 90 years old grandpa. 🤣

I tried lower difficulty thanks for the suggestion. Seriously though there is an issue im convinced of it, not a game bug either it must be chronic chippolata fingers syndrome.

You might have developed a habit of timing it so you're at the start of the window rather than in the middle of it. You don't need to react, as such, as there's an animation that starts some time before you have to do it, so you can get used to the point in the animation that you have to do it.

You're right I thought the trigger was at the end of the animation as the square lights up, anyway will not engage with anything that annoys, ive really enough on my plate right now. Appreciate your insights as you know this game intimately, many thanks. Been having the best time today on the rivals race mode getting into a nice flow state with it spitting out its random route generations and some of tunes on. Ive been trying to get back into Forza, but why have cotton when you can have silk?

Wanted to do some Police livery and while searching on the web stumbled upon a DUI prevention campaign livery that I really liked. Still need to do some work on the letters and the logo.

I have a question: are the strange color/pattern changes on the "Magma" tire vanity included in the new bundle intentional?

Or is it a texture glitch?

I was going to buy this tire vanity because the chrome red sidewalls looked great in the bundle thumbnail, but I'm confused by the strange appearance of the actual vanity.

Wish I knew this before. We all know that the feature to modify iridescent color didn't carry over to Motorfest. However you can import that car with the modified iridescent color. The color is unique to that car and can't be transferred to other cars and once you change color it's gone. And of course you can only import once so I'm out of options owning every car.
Another reason why is better to buy cars in the Crew 2. Easy likes in Custom Show.

Since I bought the "golden" tyres, I've been uploading vehicles with that as the only upgrade and have been getting Custom Show likes (and even a purchase last week) as a result.

Also - PSA - If anyone has Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox, TC2 and TCM are both now able to stream if you own the game, meaning installation on your machine can be avoided. Not planning to do this for TCM as there are a number of downgrades involved (no HDR, bitrate inconsistency etc) which make recent games look very inferior when streamed, but might stream TC2 from now on. Saves me >60GB space on my Series S where space is very limited!
