That second race was fishtailing all the way, it was a long 3 minutes... I think some of the races aren't RC so will have a look at them later.
The non RC ones are barely ok. They definitely choose the more challenging ones where you need to take the jumps perfectly. I repeated all the races again and went from 1 mil to 1,2. Will definitely came back again.

Next week's summit is all racing and hypercars should be a blast. It would have been a long month if it was all RC cars the twitchiness makes them genuinely unplayable for me. Having bought last years chase squad pass and never used it after completing it, I feel a bit of sympathy for folks who have bought the season pass this year. At the same time I love the game and would like to support ubisoft... If the Luxury and Ferrari playlists were behind a paywall it would seem like a better deal to me, as it is I have no regrets side stepping this offering. Hopefully a potential season pass 4 will be more hit than miss.

Cautiously starting to looks like I may actually stay on platinum for the summit. 2 days to go and last I checked, still above 11000. Fingers crossed I make it.

Any idea when the next prestige shop update might happen?

should be start of next season in july

I'm actually surprised that I did as good as I did this Summit. Currently in the top 8k, so should get the TRAXXAS.

Hope you get there... for me its a booby prize... I wouldnt replay this summit or RC cars if I was paid cash to do so lol. Bring on the hypercars and race cars tomorrow I love a decent summit...

Had a look at my standings in the summit earlier. 14494th place...

Que mad scramble to get a few more points before tomorrow... :scared:

Re-did 4 events with max difficulty in hopes of getting a bit better score... :nervous:

New level: 4000+ :boggled:

:embarrassed:

EDIT: those rc cars are awful to drive in stock form.

Did put the center diff on 50-50 on the free rc car, made it much better.

Gonna do the same on that Traxxas.

Since I stopped doing the daily FOMO login thing for the Custom Show, it's become much rarer to actually get a Platinum. So i was very pleased to see this for last week:

I agree with @evldave333 that it's been a good Summit this week.

I got myself up to level 20 tonight.
Also, there is a Lambo challenge to get 50 overtakes in the Sian. As the Sian is in the Main Stage this week, I ran some Custom Races to complete the challenge.

Not quite as moreish this summit just 4 fairly linear races and 5 quick events, gonna have to find my fun elsewhere this week. I really hope its back to 6 races : 3 events next time. Surely they could've thrown in some trackforge stuff instead of all these boring short duration events.

I hope Season 10 will add some new content for the TrackForge. I really love it!
I like the TrackForge, but why do I have to match the color of the next part? That peace would fit perfectly here. Nope, it's blue. I can only choose a yellow one... 😭
To me that is just bad design.

And another annoying thing:
Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak (Motorfest) : no livery option ❌
Audi Sport Quattro S1 #2 (FH): livery option ✅

I get it, licensing issue. But still.... annoying... Next week custom show will feature 2 cars with barely any customization options. Good luck getting a like in an ocean of identical cars. 😂

It's also annoying that in TC2, the Fiesta was able to have custom liveries. But in Motorfest, you can't.

Filthy JDM summit loving it... its going to be a time chipper all week... crew 2's summit by comparison was particularly haggard lol...
I loved the TCM hillclimb summit last week but didn't get much time to play.
This week's summit in TC2 is just.... Mad!
Apologies to @Ergo Me Smart for keep getting in your way during the Mad events last night! Those tracks are too narrow for more than one car at a time  I couldn't do the third one at all as I don't have a skills set for Motocross.

Downside of this is only 4 playlists a year instead of 6. However, we're getting stories and special events replacing the other 2 playlists so I think that's better (more variety).

Yeah the third one the gnarliest trail or whatever its called the last jump was brutal, I only managed it by putting a less aggressive part set on... nitro chemist was not helping 20+ attempts to finish that one aaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh! whooped with delight when i cheesed it in the end.

I hope the new changes will bring a more diverse experience to the game.

There's a meme often used by Reddit users that uses a parent playing with a child in a pool and a skeletal corpse at the bottom to mock developers favoring certain content; that's exactly what Motorfest is like right now.

They only focus on hypercars and ST1/ST2, acting as if non-car categories like boats, airplanes, motorcycles, and minor car categories like monster trucks don't exist.

This is creating conflict within the community between hypercar fans and fans of the neglected categories (or people who want a more varied experience in the game). This is a tragedy for both sides, and community conflict will never have a positive impact on the game.

Of course, I understand the reasons behind their choices. Ubisoft is currently in a difficult situation, and IVT is undoubtedly under that economic pressure. Therefore, they need to please as many players as possible within limited costs and maintain a high number of active users. This was a choice they had to make in order to survive.

However, it's disappointing to see them increasingly turning Crew into an FH mockbuster, failing to fully utilize the unique advantage and individuality of Crew, which is the diverse experience offered by its wider range of categories.

I think it has had variety this year with the RC and Nascar and multi-vehicle Redbull playlist (waterbike!) not so long back. Ubisoft will have all the user engagement data, and just looking at leaderboards generally there will be more participation for certain vehicles I totally agree... Niche vehicles are sometimes quite jarring though... the jet is objectively horrendous for example. I think selecting vehicles that are unpopular is a fools errand if summit engagement is the golden goose... I think your observations are spot on prioritise what folks enjoy, but why is this tragic? Hypercars driven on the edge of grip are the high point of the game this should be celebrated compelling gameplay is very hard to conjure.
Motorfest is a delight nothing like beautiful but abject Forza which has very shallow gameplay mechanics / little variety overall to keep the engagement going. Motorfest has what you desire in variety terms, I think it gets the attention it deserves too.
