+1 great find! 👍
Looks like on the second run, the car is harder to handle at about 3:45ish. Also, why only 10 competitors? And is it me, or do the collisions look better? 2:30 is a good example.
Best video so far. Very nice that the tires fly around, didn't expect they would really. We also got a close up of the Nissan 370Z. 👍http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tB1IQagkKps
Just found this vid, not sure if its been posted somewhere already but it shows damage from the cockpit (ie a door hanging off) and the tire wall flying away when hit.
Collision physics look so much better!![]()

in case the video doesn't work.
Can you point out where you've noticed the improvements? I'm really interested in this, but so far they look quite familiar to me..
They seem to me to be a lot less "bouncy".
This may not be the best explanation in the world but it is the impression I get.
Just watched more videos and I am super happy with a change having been made to colliosion physics.![]()
F1CE had the best damage I have seen. If you hit the wall your car was finished. It didn't take much of a crash at all and then you were done. If games are going to do damage then they should do it right or not at all. The videos of GT5's damage so far have been very poor. Hopefully they have all been on arcade mode with some sort of limited damage turned on.
but that doesn't mean that the damage is acceptable in it's current form.
+1
If you want to wreck cars go play Burnout Paradise. If you want realistic DRIVING simulator, buy GT5.
I doubt it... private rooms with no damage will be one hundred times better for clean racing.Biggest selling point is that damage forces you to play the right way. No more reckless driving with no consequeces. That's why so many people have asked for damage.
Helps to build tension on the races and force people to drive fast but carefully.
